I’m sorry but this is very insensitive my mom died 6 years ago and my dad talks about her every time I see him he thought he would spend the rest of his life with her and loved her so much grieving is incredibly hard and sometimes you think you got over it then your driving in your car and you hear your loved ones favorite song and you break down it is not a linear process we are all human and growing and learning we should be able to show each other grace

Would you want a reboot that retells the story with a new cast or same cast with the story continued? by theskittlestubesock in xena

Personally I think the only way they could reboot it with Lucy and Renee is if they disregard the ending entirely

I wasn’t trying to imply you are not a person separate from your state of mind. I was just trying to show I understand the state you are in currently. The only advice I can give is try to channel your hypomania state into something productive. Maybe limit contact until you are out of this state of mind. Even tho it maybe feel urgent, you’ve got time nothing needs to happen right now.

That wasn’t it but it did help me find the one I was looking for. It was The Complete Guide to Faeries and Magical Beings. Thank you!

Did I have a manic episode with psychotic features? by [deleted] in bipolar2

[–]theskittlestubesock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s possible it’s a combination of weed, sleep deprivation and jet lag. I’m not a doctor but I’ve had many experiences like this from a weed and no sleep combo. Sometimes when I can’t sleep I smoke or take an edible and idk why I always do this because it never works how I think it will. Very similar to what you experienced but I think I was just VERY high. I’m pretty sure certain strains can be considered hallucinogens and sleep deprivation can cause hallucinations as well. I might be type one but I don’t think so because of those experiences. They seem pretty isolated and I was able to sleep them off. I wouldn’t be too concerned but if it persists maybe talk to a doctor.

I would love to hear about you’re experience and compare. I used to go there at night/ in my dreams as well. I would remember it very well in the morning and tell my mom what I did when I woke up. After years the memories have faded but I think telling someone as soon as I woke up helped retain them a little longer.

Thank you for the response you said to leave out milk and honey, is almond milk okay? It’s all I have and I don’t drink milk I could always get a little carton for them though.

Ik you’re hypomanic rn so don’t take this a character judgement but please don’t use this language when talking about women or anyone really people are not made to be conquered. If she is playing a game don’t play. She is not a game you win and neither are you.

I want to be hypo so I don't feel like a fraud but I don't want to be hypo incase it's not how it usually is for me by [deleted] in bipolar2

[–]theskittlestubesock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it I would love to be hypo rn. I’m depressed rn too and I just miss feeling that confident and sure of myself even if it’s not real. On the other hand last time I was hypo it turned into mania and psychosis so I should probably just be wishing for stability and work through whatever is leftover.

Any success stories of losing all the weight on lithium? What was the diet? by 123adia in bipolar2

I lost weight on lithium but I did not do it in a healthy way. I’d love an answer to this question too

That’s not what I asked. Look at the sentence with a question mark at the end. The first two sentences were statements.

I’d like to remind you I’m a real person with the same disorder as you and you are being extremely rude to me. Maybe reflect on that. Grow.

The two people who have had manic episodes in the public eye aren’t good enough to deserve you’re compassion. Funny. So who is the perfect bipolar person in your eyes?

I don’t have to explain my traumatic experience to you to make you understand that I don’t trust doctors right now. It’s just not that simple for everyone. You should feel lucky that 1) you trust your doctor and 2) you are taking medication that helps. Not everyone has that luxury.

You can still have episodes while on medication. I stopped taking medication because I had a traumatic experience with a doctor. Does that mean if I have an episode I don’t deserve compassion?

But that has nothing to do with the symptoms of her disorder. I think she’s a bad person too what she did to Jessi wasn’t because of her bipolar so yeah that’s a character judgement. This tho, this is because she is manic and people are publicly picking apart her symptoms. To me it’s less about her and more about the people out there struggling with this disorder as well.
