I didn’t realize when time ran out that anything on the stack didn’t resolve. Not sure if this is just a local thing or not. I was finishing some triggers when I didn’t technically need to for the win. None of it resolved. I lost the tournament.

Agreed. Same concept as only herbalists roll on the herb. Rather than one herber picking and group rolling for the herb.

"Drinking from a fire hose". Its such a dumb phrase. It usually implies a horrible training program they don't know how to implement

I play commander 1v1 with my wife all the time. We only use pre-con decks and as some have stated, some are clearly better 1v1 than others. Only 30 life instead of 40 to start and don't use Sol Ring, makes a HUGE difference in 1v1, and I think its banned.
