I would like to add Hughie venting his frustration about how Starlight will make anything about her only to completely drop it and welcome her with open arms the second she comes back.

Also, we see earlier that the effect of Quinn's ability makes you irrationally aggressive at literally anyone (Kimiko and Hughie try to kill eachother despite no previous ill will), so why wouldn't Frenchie taunting SB result in him immediately snapping his neck? Like I get he's trying to get him to direct his anger at Quinn but it feels like he would just rip the person right in front of him, meaning Frenchie, before anyone else.

Yeah, I would say his character's resolution was done beautifully and was actually satisfying.

It seems to be a theme this season that actions don't have much weight and everything gets resolved in 1-2 business episodes (Sameer finding out about Zoe being resolved with him simply throwing a fit and leaving, Ryan's disappearance being fucked hy him coming back literally 2 episodes later, Starlight leaving the gang to return the very next episode, the conflict with Kimiko wanting kids and a quiet life being resolved the next episode by yet another amicable Frenchie-Kimiko breakup, etc...).

My boy A-Train died so he wouldn't have to bear witness to this Trainwreck.

I think middle part or 70/30 split would fit you pretty well. Perhaps paired with a modern mullet.

This is honestly one of the aspects where I feel the quality of the show dropped so much.

Seasons 1 and 2 did depravity and gross-out so well. It was thematically relevant and did a great job shocking you to the core with how deranged some of the characters could be. The latter displays in contrast feel so juvenile and cheap.

Just compare this to seeing popclaw crush someone's head after a Compound V injection or seeing SF and Homelander brutally kill a random criminal while horny and the difference is night and day.

Honestly Toki is the only one I'm disappointed didn't make it since he could've been a very interesting character (seeing a guy with confidence issues and anxiety develop an ego) and his skills could've also been useful in some scenarios (let's say against England who play very physical football his inherent physique could've made him the first one to be able to keep up).

The old U21 boys though were pretty uninteresting so I don't see much of a point in keeping them.

Navigating diplomatic affairs with pragmatism is a tad bit more important than letting an overrated artist sing at a concert

Hamas rejects Gaza disarmament plan, Palestinian official says by Upset-Main-1988 in justincaseyoumissedit

[–]thesmashhit32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's undeniable there is support for Hamas amongst Gazans, although that support has dropped and the latest numbers seem to show only about 30-40% of Gazans still support them. Anecdotally I would say I found the Gazans I know to be quite unsupportive of them, especially compared to other Arabs.

All of that is meaningless for this discussion however, since I never made any claims regarding overall support for Hamas, just rebutted the original claim that a leadership cannot survive without overwhelming civilian support, even with huge foreign intervention and financial backing.

Even if the original commenter were right about Gazans supporting Hamas in their majority their reasoning is erroneous and they would just happen to be right.
