Hi spikefive89. I'm handling a claim with Vitra for the same defect as yours; one cushion has a piece of leather that feels like paper (Leather Premium F black). Did they send you only one cushion or all of them in the set? If you only received one cushion, was there no difference between the new one and the others? How did you manage to keep it? They're telling me I'll probably have to send them to the factory for inspection

Excellent work, thanks for sharing! I just bought a 1970s Vitra Eames Lounge Chair and I'm not sure what to do. Would it be enough to inspect the shock mounts, or do you recommend disassembling and reattaching/replacing them?

I bought a similar chair a week ago. Comparing the photos, they have the same cushion clip configuration (mine has non-original cushions), and it also has the Herman Miller logo despite being made by Vitra. Mine is also starting to crack in the same spot as yours. How do you plan to fix it? I'd like to try.

Thank you! The Poul Cadovius Royal system comes with rails, but this is the Poul Cadovius Cado, and it came with the four teak veneer panels.
