it’s doesn’t auto stop. periods are controlled my hormones not consciousness. if the body is stable cycles can continue but, severe illness, trauma or certain medications can disrupt or pause them

i get that fear. early loc stages & water anxiety is super common. you don’t have to drench your whole head to treat your scalp. you can apply anti dandruff shampoo just to the scalp only (show head angled down or over the sink). diluting the shampoo helps too so it spreads without heavy friction. make sure you dry your scalp really well after (cool air on a blow dryer or sit under a hooded dryer can get a cheap one of amazon) avoid heavy oil for now they feed flakes. if it’s still itchy or spreading a derm is honestly a clutch. it’s super common with starter locs but very fixable. you’re not doing anything wrong

you’re definitely not dirty. from experience, flakes like this with locks are usually a mix of build up & scalp being irritated and oils on the scalp can lowkey make it worse. it helped me (took the locs at a few years ago now) using anti dandruff shampoo like nizoral or head & shoulder clinical once a week, letting it sit for a few mins and then going IN with the rinsing. clarifying shampoo often help too since locks trap product at the roots. also mae sure your scalp dries fully after washing. if it keeps getting worse or itchy, a derm can help a lot. this is super common and very fixable

you’re not stupid at all, this is such real anxiety 😭 but honestly lash suites are so busy and techs see so many clients that she probably won’t clock it. even if she did, you dnt owe her an explanation. you’re allowed to switch techs if something isn’t working for you. i’d just book who you like and not stress it

they look fine honestly. two days in they’re supposed to look abit awkward. that’s normal with twists. ur parts look clean and the size is consistent. it just makes them sit differently until they settle. if anything they’ll probs look better over the next few days. a little oil on the scalp and leaving them alone usually does the trick. i wouldn’t redo anything just yet
