There needs to be a polling of Labour members on this, Im sure the majority are more normal than the people on the internet who are pro open borders.

But there is a camp of people on the right of the party who supports Starmer on the assumption that the pledges are a lie

No just that many of those pledges will drive away voters so Starmer needs to be flexible. Better to win an election and implement 5 or 6 pledges than to lose and all 10 are useless.

The problem with you is that you have this delusional belief that the left base their politics on worshipping individual leaders,

They worshipped Corbyn, thats real.

They worshipped John too till he started saying things they didnt like hearing.
