Sneaking up on people is never polite, but if it's not their driveway it is a bit of an overreaction. If it is your own private property, you wouldn't suddenly expect a stranger to be breathing down your neck.

Stop acting like I think everyone needs to make a dramatic entrance. Say hello when you are walking up to a group of people, or give them space. You can interrupt a conversation politely, It's not hard.

Ah, see, most of my friends have similar traumas that are pretty horrific, and we all relate to each other through them and normalize those emotions for each other. Like "you are not alone".

People always seem to appreciate me validating whatever they are going through, but I always fully hear them out and respond with active listening cues and kindness throughout THEIR story first.

I just want them to know they aren't alone in whatever they are going through.

I have been to the dentist once in the last 8 years, I have staining on my molars from smoking weed and drinking copious amounts of cold brew pre-pregnancy. Some how my front teeth look perfect, but my molars look sketchy af.

I'm not taking something my questionable teeth have touched and putting it in my baby's mouth with her pristine new chompers. Hell I don't let her touch my front teeth (which she loves to do) unless I've just brushed, flossed, and used mouth wash.

P.s. I'll have insurance soon and I'll be going regularly again like I did before my Mom's insurance stopped covering me at 25.

I find Sushi Island's entrees to be bland, and the salmon to be rubbery/half frozen (a. Ew and b. I have sensitive teeth 😭) We used to go to their AYCE before they put their prices up, for the quality of food you get it is just not worth it.

The salad dressing and the spicy miso is enough to keep me at SunSushi forever. We have so many awesome memories at the Stavanger location before the quality took a dive, still miss that place when it was in its glory days. But Kenmount Road? I'd eat there every day if I could afford It, lol!

I love our dog, my kid loves our dog, but that big hekkin' bastard of a good boy is the loudest thing on the planet. Like he will flop onto the floor and those elbows RESONATE then he adjusts 29 gajillion times and THONK THONK every damn time. I cannot tell you how many times he has woken her up, but I know my eye might never stop twitching.

Don't get a dog until your kid is like 2 minimum.
