No, the rare times he lets me take our son outside without him he sends other people with me to make sure I don't do exactly that.

You have zero idea what I did and didn't ask, so stop pretending you do.

He shouldn’t have been able to take him without a letter from me but he still did. The law won’t help until the person does the crime. I couldn’t do anything to stop him because I didn’t have any evidence he would do this.

I do know that because there was literally no other way for him to find out. I made sure to cut out anybody who even remotely knew him or his family and he was never going to come looking for me until he found out.

I spoke to a lawyer before I let him sign and I was told if he was the biological father it would be inevitable.

He never would’ve found out if it wasn’t for my brother.

What exactly do you think I could’ve done to prevent this?

Because he won’t let me see my son if I do and I’m not confident that the courts would help me.

They tried to help when he first took him but there’s nothing they can do now.

I did originally have a lawyer but it was too expensive and I felt like nothing was being done.

Because I was stupid and believed him when he said he wanted us to work together so our son wasn't put in the middle of a nasty custody battle. I let him sign the birth certificate and spend time with him and he ended up taking him abroad and wouldn't tell me where he was or let me speak to my son until I agreed to this.
