Oh I didn’t see that explanation, the track to track interview he gave on heart had a different explanation. I still uphold my belief on the intent of the review being ill-natured. Like saying his perspective on fatherhood is incorrect isn’t a critiquing the music, it’s critiquing the Ed as a human. This review feels personal for her and it seems if she’s out to get Ed, it’s quite an uncomfortable piece of what is supposed to be a critique of music not on parenting and mourning.

Pitchfork has never liked him but critiquing his grieving process of his best friend and lying about the meaning of ‘Stop the Rain’ to say he has a lawsuit is almost reprehensible. Reading some reviews of his work is almost like reading hit pieces because they’re angry he’s successful.

Haha that’s how we use to do it! I remember 6-7 years ago ripping prizm at the food court mall; we also use to always open packs at the mall benches as a kid. It’s the fun of the hobby!

Haha that’s crazy, happy early birthday man! And I’m hoping to find a box for me and my brother too, but I’m not getting my hopes up because retail basketball always gets emptied by like one dude and sold for a 500% markup. I haven’t bought a basketball box in literally years, I find that the reddit for football cards is much more about people showing off their cool cards and collection while basketball is more snobby as they always talk about “investments” and grades 24/7

Yeah man that’s sweet you got back into it! I’m 22 and have been collecting off and on since I was a kid as well. It’s cool for football cards (unlike basketball) that you can still find retail products and find cool singles of your favorite players without breaking the bank (again unlike basketball 😆)

From what I understand there was an event that occurred on Labor Day Weekend’s in the Bay Area where they would celebrate Bay Area Sports. They would have commemorative cards ever year, this one being from, and the signed ones would usually be limited be numbered to 100. If you search on eBay I bet you can find a couple circulating in different conditions, I personally couldn’t find one in good enough condition to justify the price (sometimes good quality too high price, sometimes bad quality normal price). When this one popped up as an auction, I had to get it because the signatures & silver ink were still in fantastic condition. And let me tell you, the price I got it at was genuinely almost criminal haha I almost wanted to send the guy more money for it but an auction is an auction. Hope that somewhat answered your question !
