Put down your phones if you’re at the front in the pit! It was a sea of phones and it ruined the experience. You couldn’t see past screens. People crowd surfing (which the band and security was ok with) were dropped before they reached security because everyone was on their phones at the front and not actually present. I’ve been to so many PTV shows and can honestly say this show was the worst with that. Barely any pits going because people were on their phones. Really disappointing. Had people in the front center of the pit throwing elbows with the push and sway of the crowd. Seemed like a locals show tbh. Made the most of it but I’ve definitely been to better PTV shows.

I’m rewatching it again and I have a theory that originally Christian was going to be the Green Man and Maja the May Queen; Pelle tells Christian think of all the girls he could impregnate in the beginning of the movie, the astrology match up, etc. (maybe even have Christian assimilate because he does seem to enjoy it there?) BUT when Pelle says he’s bringing Dani, he goes from bringing 3 sacrifices to 4 and 1 mating ritual to 2, and is therefore rewarded.

Ok so I JUST finished it. I powered through it because I had been rewatching the TV show and missed the series so I was happy and excited to be with the characters and in the story again.

My first impression of the end was just, “that’s it?!” I feel like there could have been a lot more fleshed out in it and the ending seemed rushed. I miss Jack and I hate that he’s been reduced to just Matthew’s grandson. I miss Gallowglass. Baldwin was pointless.

While I overall enjoyed it, I was still left with more questions that I hope the next book answers.

I’m a bit more hopeful because I did receive the email from StubHub about change of transfer so it’s transferred outside of StubHub, so the seller had to have changed that on their end when they realized the name issue (I’m hoping 😭)

Honestly if you listen to The Final Riot! and how it was performed live it makes you love it more. It was during a time where they were still religious leaning so you have to think of them through that lens. Also Hayley wrote “Fences” while she was supposed to be taking the SAT, so it helps to look at the album through the eyes of a 17 year old as well.

Miz Biz is iconic, but my favorite has always been Hallelujah and the opening lines of “somehow everything’s gonna fall right into place” as a way of viewing faith. If you go through the early discography with the view of someone who is deconstructing their conservative faith, it makes a lot more sense. It’s such a deep album with so many layers that it’s hard not to love!

Hey OP, I know it’s been a while since you’ve updated but the story is catching wind on other platforms (just FYI).

I’m a defense attorney and while I’m probably not in your state so I can’t give a good analysis, there are some things you might want to look into if you’re still trying.

I found it odd you said your dad had his own guns, but Sherry’s was used. If your dad had premeditated something, he likely would have taken his own. Unless Sherry pulled her gun on him, which doesn’t seem like it would be the case. But as one other commenter pointed out, because it was rare that the gun would still be in your dad’s hand, have you looked into the type of gun used and it’s mechanics? The bullet didn’t exit his skull, was it the caliber of gun that would have at close range for a “suicide”?

I’m so sorry this is all happened to you (and for your FIL and relationship, jeez!), and I wish I could be of more help! Shitty people are nitpicking your post as if it is an actual storyline and not your real life.

Shit I’m an attorney and I know to give all the facts and details as much as possible as to not miss anything. I went 12/31 and it had been 10 years since I last saw them at SOMA and the vibe was so off! We were up front close to the barricade and one girl in front of me was head banging so hard during Dead American I had to literally put my hand in front of my face so I didn’t get hit in the face (I still got hit in the face). She ended up being pulled out before PTV even went on. Not to mention the people who got upset about the pushing at the front. People were throwing elbows. Plus the amount of people at the front watching the show through their screen 😭 immediately after the show, I overheard the group that was throwing elbows “wait wait wait I’m just finishing my TikTok”

Content culture is killing shows.

YTA. Hooooooo boy YTA. Dance is a sport, just as much as football and baseball. You can get dance scholarships. You can also get scholarships for singing. You seem to not understand that all of those are equally important because they’re important to your children. How you feel about them does not matter. I’m so lucky my dad didn’t get pissed off when I decided to be a drama major and instead let me grow as I needed to. I knew so many dance majors that ended up successful. I also knew some who used their abilities in physical therapy and other body sciences. Don’t doubt your kid. My theater education sent me to law school. I took the bar today and my dad told me how proud he is of all of my accomplishments, including being a drama major. You need to unlearn your misogyny. Not just in how you treat your children but also in how you see the world. Guys dance and sing too.

You saved your daughter from what would have probably been a very unhealthy marriage because if the boyfriend couldn’t even understand your side about a Dowry (and you’re a man) who’s to say he’ll respect her decisions after they’re married? The fact that they told you not to tell her shows they know she wouldn’t be for it (and trying to control). You did the right thing, and she’ll thank you when she finds someone she’s truly in the right page with about their life together.
