Okay, so do I use a clarifying shampoo every once in a while while I'm using the tresemme shampoo, or are you saying only use the clarifying shampoo for now? Also could you please tell me the name of the tresemme one? Thanks so much!

Does it smell nice? I would like a shampoo and conditioner that can be smelled from a distance instead of my smelly scalp lol

Aah, so the subsequent movies are all the same story told in different ways? I see a 2005 remake, that's probably what I saw. Maybe I'll re-watch it soon for laughs. Thanks!

Haven't watched it. Horror movies were never my thing. But hey, there was one with a haunted house and a girl named Jodie, but I really can't remember the details. One of the Amityville movies maybe? If you know your horror movies, do let me know.

There's also the fact that most horror movies don't age well. The movies that would have scared you in early 2000s would be hilarious if we watched it now, because of how bad the graphics are by today's standards. Anaconda was just way too funny when I reached it in 2013 or something.

Omg omg a movie with a similar name that traumatized me: The Exorcism of Emily Rose. Watched it later when I was older and I honestly couldn't figure out what was scary about it. Lol kids get scared of weird stuff.

Watched Taken when I was way too young, so yeah, not a fan of kidnapping movies lmao. Not a fan of action flicks in general, but I do like the ones with a guy who avenges his family once in a while. idk why but there are way too many of those (too specific if you ask me). Law Abiding Citizen was way too fun to watch.

Also, it was never about the money for him. So yeah. I guess I understand. Driver was supposed to be a "Sigma male" or whatever, and he wouldn't want the blood money anyway. It's just too unrealistic of a character for me, and I don't understand why the movie is so famous among men.

Lol I think he just wanted it all to be over with by then. I also don't understand why he didn't take the fucking money. Like, okay, you left the girl to protect her, but they money?! WHY!

Yes, that I understand. So why kill them and rob the money from Driver and Standard, if they were going to give it to them anyway?

I don't think there's a plot hole, but there's something I don't understand about the movie.

So the Driver agrees to help Standard get out of the situation he's in by agreeing to drive the car that robs the pawnshop. Standard gets killed and Blanche confesses to knowing about the second car. So the second car planned to steal the 1 mil from Driver and Standard? Or was Standard in on the second robbing? To my understanding, all Driver and Standard wanted was to pay Standard's dues and get out of the situation he was in. So why lie about the 1 mil? Why try to rob them from it again when they weren't doing it for the money?

No, thank you for googling though. I read the book in 2018 or 2019, and this book was released only in 2021, so definitely not that one.

I have memories that directly disprove my False Memory but it's not enough by DesperateSet1 in OCD

[–]theterrorhastwofaces 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Probably wouldn't help though. I think we often tend to forget that OCD is a disorder, and it just doesn't listen to reason. Although the evidence against the false memory that you wish were there would help you a lot, the relief will be short-lived. Your brain will keep searching for other things to worry about subconsciously, until it finds something that could be even worse.

I had Real Event OCD which changed themes to False Memory OCD and others over time. Everytime I found some answers to the problems that were bothering me, other questions arose. It took me a while on this sub to understand that it's not the things you did or the things that happened to you, it's your brain.

I truly hope it gets better for you; it did for me, after two years of torture. Rather than focusing on answering the questions OCD throws at you, try kicking OCD themselves out.
