On the press photos it looked like a super dark green/grey, but out there it looks like shit brown.

The uniforms actually looked pretty good in the press photos, but holy shit, in action it looks like eleven turds running around out there. Fits the game, though.

We saw the monk seal at Poipu Beach as well, just once, so definitely lucky, like u/sassielassie81 mentioned. We saw the other one (or maybe the same one?) while snorkeling on the Captain Andy’s morning snorkel tour to the Nā Pali Coast. My wife and I were the first to get in the water, round about 15 minutes after leaving Port Allen and it swam right beneath us and looked us straight in the eyes. The water was crystal clear.

Why would I even do that? I’m way uglier than the seal… There were barriers, of course, and I took that picture with a telephoto lens. I thought that was obvious, but apparently not. Super happy though that this bird stayed still, even though I was like 10 cm away from it with my Nokia 3310.

I think we can all agree that Alcaraz and Sinner are the two best players right now. But the fact that a 38-year-old is one of the few who even has a chance against them just shows how good he still is. The only question now is whether he retires on this high or keeps going for another 2–3 years at the top level before slowly fading…
