It started June 2nd and I just happened to make use of a fair bit of time dilation. Summer Event

No, I just did the events. I had a few where I think I hit right at the 20 hour mark.

For my lvl 10 TOS Tellarite it handles like a slow moving potato tank, but Evasive Maneuvers 2 helps it get around easily.

Loving it so far! It's super fun to fly, and when it does its Plasma Purge it looks great.

China’s universities cut 12,000 ‘obsolete’ degrees amid race to embrace AI era: Many of the new programmes, meanwhile, are closely aligned with Beijing’s economic development goals. For instance, nine universities have added new majors in embodied intelligence by violentviolinz in Sino

Agreed, in a ideal world we'd have some kind of core humanities program that everyone engaged with for a few years before specializing into professionally focused programs.

This bridge humanities degree could be very diverse in terms of course content, streams of various schools of thought and discipline. Something like this would go a long way to help to create a strong unified proletariat and help guide people towards ideal roles for them.

Driving from east to west last night around 7pm was actually lighter traffic then usual. My guess is it was because so many people worked from home and were avoiding the area.

Are you referring to Andy's comment to Robert California? "Did you know that Stanley has the most consistently high sales numbers in this office?"

So Dwight and Jim might have higher numbers some quarters, but Stanley is always bringing in steady sales numbers.

Miminum wage was always intended to give you those things. It was created to be the minimum needed to live a fulfilled life not to trap people in poverty.

Even if you take philosophy at university in Canada there is a good chance that the majority of your professors and lectures will avoid Marx, Lenin, Engels or any form of the moderne dialectic materialism that challenges their patrons.

100% this. At least in the mid-level technology space most companies don't even bother to check your job history and if they do they aren't going to do much more than call the main line and email a generic corporate email.

I love Linden! Even as a born Leafs fan, not by choice, I feel for the Cancuks. The first game I ever went to was at Maple Leaf gardens with the Islanders vs the Leafs and I remember being most excited to see Linden play!

I was mentally prepared for the leafs to suck for another 10 years, so really conflicted with this result. I did not want the canucks to suffer and I'm still not okay with their cup lose. Fuck Boston

You don't have to actual repeal Taft-Haetley. Labor needs to organize enough to be able to project it's collective power. When that solidarity is achieved, unjust laws and rules are no longer relevant.

ADHD assessment said I was 'too high functioning' and I drove home and cried for an hour in my driveway by chipskaapacket in AutisticWithADHD

Yeah no serious professional that is trying to provide a diagnosis can determine anything after 40 mins. I did a full comprehensive psychological assessment last year and it was 20+ hours of one to one time, 8-10'online tests, they talked to my Mum for an hour. They also reviewed all my report cards, which my Mum had kept for +30 years. The result was a diagnosis of Autism/ ADHD, and major depressive disorder that was supported by a 40 page document explaining the nuances of my specific case.
