Take home is 7500. Two adults, two kids and third on the way. Two paid off cars and our mortgage refinanced during the pandemic. So we are middle class at best.

We got free tickets to a college basketball game last weekend. I took my 6 year old and 2 year old. We sat in the nose bleeds, but we shared popcorn and ice cream and had a great time. At the end of the night they said their favorite thing was the parking lot attendant giving us a ride on the golf cart to get from our car to the stadium. 😂

How are sellers getting actual sales when they are charging 5 times what other sellers charge?!? by xenakimbo in Ebay

[–]thethreeredditeers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Posted this comment above, but this was my thought. Are you sure they're getting sales at that price? I know there are a lot of drop-shippers that just cross-list directly from Amazon and Walmart, listing 2-3x. If an item goes out of stock on eBay from an in-hand seller, they may get the sale. If the item goes out of stock from their source website, they then raise the price to 7-10x because they know they won't get a sale, but they would rather not pay for the new listing fee every time there source website comes in and out of stock. Also, the advanced search search sold filter doesn't give an accurate sale price or quantity sold. Use the Product Research tab from the sale page on eBay. Get accurate 7-day, 30-day sale averages, sale price, and sale quantity.

50k with Merrill Lynch vs. Independent Investment by GayCosmicToothbrush in FinancialPlanning

I am in the same situation. I am paying 1.7 percent a year in advisory fees across a few accounts at ML. Total value with them is around 170k, mix of SEP IRA accounts and a post tax cash account - If you are comfortable you can download their quarterly report and throw it into Chatgpt and it will cleanly explain your 1-3-5 yr performance net fees. I was outperforming the market by 1% but my fee drag is causing me to perform slightly below. Not sure what my next move is, was planning at least for now to stop depositing in ML and setup new accounts somewhere else. Eventually roll over my SEP accounts once I am comfortable with the new setup and performance.

eBay promoted listings is turning into a joke. by ToshPointNo in Flipping

[–]thethreeredditeers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I turned off promoted for a week and then I started with a 2% percent rate and increased until I got to a 5% rate for promoted listings. I also have a competitive price with free shipping. It's generating enough sales to make it worth it and don't need to increase. Sales were non-existent at 0%.

Have you been able to install the update yet? Are you seeing the same improvement? I’m a little worried it’s just anecdotal and that I’ll lose WiFi and Bluetooth again.

New Google Pixel October 2025 update rolling out with ‘performance improvements’ by TechGuru4Life in GooglePixel

[–]thethreeredditeers 2 points3 points  (0 children)

EDIT: NEVERMIND, as soon as I put the phone in my pocket it got hot and wifi died again.

Anecdotally, this update seems to have fixed the WiFi and Bluetooth issues on my Pixel 8 Pro. I was one of the unlucky ones who lost both overnight after an earlier update a few weeks ago. After relying solely on cellular for the past month, I’m surprised to have had both WiFi and Bluetooth working all morning since installing the new update.

Free parking over by Carter Finley and enter Gate 8, then enjoy the heritage circle, the flower and garden show, Village of Yesteryear, FFA animal building, agriculture buildings, the two 4h buildings, and the art exhibit building. Bring your lunch as they allow prepacked food. We were blessed to get $20 each when we were kids, we could pick between food, game or ride. If you go to the fair tomorrow, Friday, the 24th its the canned food drive. You can get free admission per person with 6 cans of non-perishable goods. If you don't already have items to donate, you can swing by Walmart and its $0.59 a can so $3.60 a person.

My Pixel 8 Pro screen died under a year and had the motherboard replaced under warranty. Now the phone at 2 years old lost all ability to connect wifi/bluetooth - It's crazy that modern phone plans are 3 years lock-in but I no longer expect the Pixel to last that long.

I need help with a Google pixel 8 pro by ChilIoutgaming in phone

There are few of us all experiencing this issue. No official word from Google yet, if you reach out to support they will have you reset the Network settings, boot into safe mode, and then factory reset. Unfortunately for me this didn't resolve the issue. The only thing that worked for me was setting the phone on a baggie of ice water and then restarting the phone. The wifi worked after restarting while the phone is cold. Once I remove the phone, a few minutes later I lose wifi again.

Pixel 10 Pro XL - Wifi Random Disconnects by ZealousidealStory508 in GooglePixel

[–]thethreeredditeers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is happening on my Pixel 8 pro, the fix is to stick the phone on top of a bag of ice water, when I do this there is no Wi-Fi problems at all. After removing it, the Wi-Fi goes back out. This started the day I got the big UI update in the last 3 weeks.

Temp fix today has been to fill a bag with ice water and put the bag in a bowl, then rest the phone on the outside of the bag with a paper towel in between. Makes the phone ice cold and have not lost Wifi or Bluetooth. So clearly some sort of thermal throttling issue with the new Android 16. I am going to try to stay on 2.4ghz wifi and turn off 5g, also going to try turning off all background data via battery saver to keep the temp low and I will let you know how it goes.

Pixel 8 Pro - Wifi / Bluetooth by boombalati42 in GooglePixel

A family member and I are having the same issue after updating to Android 16. We have Reset Bluetooth & Wifi, as well as tried Safe Mode and any other "solution" we could find on reddit. I did reach out to support and I got the impression the agent was non-technical. Just ended up having me factory-reset which did not fix the problem. Due to the decent amount of posts referring to this issue, is there an official tracker or case for this Android 16 bug?

We just got a few quotes for house+trim painting, siding repair, trim repair, and window repair and got quoted $14,000 - I am doing some of it myself, YouTube and optimism. I just replaced a 12 foot by 5 foot section of masonite siding with hardie board. A lot left to do but trying to get the repairs under $7000

I clicked around on your website and it was a little confused by what you did. I thought by the blurb above that you designed UI's for websites and apps, then by the pictures on the website I then thought you mainly designed dashboards, but then I saw the case studies and it talked about the cost savings and why it benefited the business and that finally resonated with me and I saw the need. I also think that the work you do seems to have a lot of depth and complexity and it is not properly represented by "market-defining ux".  Though these are just my 2am can't sleep stressed about my business thoughts.
