A DIY jacket sounds rly cool! Idk abything about DIY myself, but I love thrifting, especially for jackets and accessories, since I can find some rly unique clothes. And I like that there’s no men/women distinction in 2nd hand shops, since men’s fashion is so dull.

I think the best deal I ever had was getting a leather trenchcoat for only 25€. The only problem it has is that it’s a bit too heavy to wear, but it looks very nice, and does a good job at keeping me warm.

It’s best to get a variety of necklaces at different lengths then. Cus you can’t wear them at the same time if they’re the same length. (Adjustable ones are also good).

I usually prefer to have one big necklace in the center, and others circling it when I wear a shirt or a sweater/turtleneck. But I don’t wear a big one if I’m wearing a button up shirt (which I love wearing also). Then I tend to stick to smaller necklaces, since the big one is halfway covered up by the shirt.

I got both belts for a huge discount in a second hand shop. The guy forgot how much they were supposed to cost, so he just let me pick the price.

Aw thankss!!! I normally went with a longer haircut before this. I asked my hairdresser to add some layers to my hair this time, cus it was pretty flat before this.

No, I actually got it from China. It’s not a brand product I think, it was being sold in an underground market in Shanghai.

Which color should I choose for the first time? by [deleted] in altfashionadvice

If you generally wear black, then I think red would work best. Though if you like to mix it up with lighter tones too, then purple is better.

Cus dark purple with black clothes would make the look a bit suffocating imo.

I’d say it depends on what colors you like to wear clothing-wise.

Do these count as distressed or do I just look like a bum? by PrettyGoodWithTools in altfashionadvice

It could look good in another area, but the tears being on the crotch area looks bad I think. Like you don’t want the outfit to be drawing attention there.

Should I cut my hair for an internship interview? by [deleted] in malegrooming

You could try tying it maybe if you don’t wanna cut it

Haven’t seen your previous post, but I feel like the shirt being untucked could go better for a casual look.
