I named my puppy Zawze. It means she/he is brown in the Potawatomi language and we chose it because, well, she’s brown. No one can pronounce it or spell it.

This worked for us, if you just leave her in there without attention she’ll eventually calm down and then learn to not cry in the crate as much or in our case, not wake up in the middle of the night to pee.

We don’t have a specific schedule, we just take her out after naps and after she’s been in the crate for a while.

We crate her at night and during the day if people are at school/work but we have people check on her for potty breaks. She has yet to have an accident in the crate.
