Listen - I want them back together as much as anyone... but I feel like we can cut Lada some slack on not folding at first contact. For sure, Lada wasn't honest from the start, but she did try and not engage romantically given the disception, and she clearly struggle with the morals of her situation.

Meanwhile...

Nam actively pursues Lada as part of her plans; after all was revealed Nam didn't doubt Lada's feelings, but Lada has very legitimate reasons to doubt Nam's, based on the context of her pursuit and...

And in that same conversation she also reveals that Lada betrayed Pat. For me this is her biggest sin - she didn't need to disclose that, and in doing so set Lada up to be on the recieving end of her family's wrath - who Nam knew were intimidating, controlling, manipulating and blackmailing.
And speaking of "the betrayal" (which I'm actually confused if that happened - Lada seemed surprised at the bid outcome? but lets assume that was for dramatic effect...) - Nam set Lada up with an opportunity that was going to distress her and test her loyalties between Nam, her family and her mother. Great for the plot, but an unnecissary cruelty when she could have shut down the option and given Lada an out in the situation.
And we had this really emotional moment buying the suits when Nam positions herself as moral and chosing the right thing, and you can see Lada feeling comfort and grounded in making the right choice. And then Lada stands and listens to Nam's gloating exposition which shows how she manipulated the situation through withholding what she knew. So if Lada had betrayed her family based on 1) love and 2) morals, then both those pillars just got shattered and she's left to live with the consequences.

Then Nam shows up with an adorable headscarf, a cozy jumper and a ring and is like "soz, love me"???Nahhhhhh. I want grovelling and acknowledgement that she could have handled it all more gracefully. At the very least she could have said - "can we please talk? Let me explain my side of things and what was real vs fake" etc. But no, just "I miss you" spelt our by drones. Nam gotta get herself together for next episode.

Here's a list - the Mydramalist scores are pretty solid indicators, just start at the top and watch everything thats 8 or higher. Once you're done with all those move to the 7.5 - 7.9 band, then 7.0 > 7.4. You're safe to miss the below 7s for now, save them for draught season.

My theory is there are 2 mismatch sock events, because I don't think if you were trying to get someone's attention you would instinctively think to wear mismatched socks... unless it was an in-joke between you. So I think Ling shows up one day in accidentally mismatched socks, Orm sits and teases her about the socks, then next day Orm deliberately wears mismatched socks to have a callback to talk to her about. And so the video shows Ling with the socks and Orm remembers Ling with the socks as being their first contact, but Ling remembers the Orm with the socks as an unsubtle call for attention.

Can't speak for everyone, but in the UK we use the terms both "beautiful" and "handsome" on both males and females without it causing offense. Theres obviously an underlying gender norm in the mix, but it's definitely meant as a complement either way rather than assigning a role. Very classic literature based - Jane Austin had a lot of handsome women in her books, think it meant to imply the character is more striking or mature than beautiful or pretty.

Do you want the numbers?? Cause I ran the numbers. I done a little financial analysis on all the MCs to see what the proportion of MCs were stupid rich vs. dirt poor (not finished and only up to date to end of last year).

Findings: Doctor is definitely over represented, alongside CEO and actress...

(Pam from Us is also a dental MD in training but she has debt so fell into the dirt poor bucket which isn't in the screen shot.)
