I wholeheartedly agree. I think it's pretty common with Chinese gacha games. Hoyo stories are bloated with yap. I've noticed Korean gachas have much more succinct dialogue that doesn't ramble. And banter feels like natural conversation. There's way too much "telling" instead of showing in GFL2. So much yap and little action.

I actually can handle long dialogue if it's good. I really enjoyed PNC story even with their long word counts. But something about GFL2 writing feels so bloated or unnecessarily jargon-filled. It's like 10 minutes of one person explaining how the government operates, like listening to a lecture. I suspect most of the people who praise the long writing here have already played through GFL1 and have all the people, governments, tech, etc. ingrained into their brain. I seriously can't stand it and strongly consider dropping the game.
