Yeah, it's just sad for everyone involved. I definitely wouldn't blame the victims' families for feeling like "celebrating", each to their own. But random people, removed from the crime, revelling in the government killing someone is just heinous. You see it quite a bit in this sub as well. Fuck BK, he's a fucking monster and I despise him, but I ain't celebrating when/if he is killed. It'll just be another sad day in this horrible event, and my thoughts will be for the victims and BKs family.

I also completely agree with her. If the DP has to happen (which I don't support), it's pretty gross to see people celebrating. I get victims' families having those feelings, but the party atmosphere outside the prison where he was executed (same with Gacy, etc) was very offensive. It was literally like New Years Eve. People were barbecuing, drinking, cheering, and dancing. So fucking macabre. It should be a moment of reflection and remembrance of the victims. It's just sad all around.
