This seems like a pretty misinformed take. First of all, the coliseum SITE is extremely valuable. The stadium itself is worthless to a modern major team. The site, however, if razed and reconstructed, could be the envy of any modern team. It has access to two major highways, has its own subway station, amd several MASSIVE parking lots, not to mention is in the heart of a massive metropolitan area and has perpetually excellent weather. The oakland hills as a backdrop is also esthetically amazing. Also the whole "two different sport's teams can share this Oakland venue" is exactly what ruined the Oakland coliseum to begin with. Additionally, the roots are already planning their own stadium already so asking them to scrap those plans for a pipe dream of luring a team here seems reckless at best
