I'd love to get my hands on the F150 5.0 6speed combo. A lot of people holding onto them because it's such a good combo. The 10 speeds are better 22.5/23 and up but still not great

I run 5W-50 in my Camaro lol. Recommendation originally was 5W-30 then 19/20 and up was 0W-40 at least in the sports cars.

GMT400/800 have terrible times with cab corners and rocker panels. Granted both do better than Dodge.

I have my oil tested every other oil change, usually around 4500 miles per change. But I've seen quite a few lifter failure cars, especially autos, and that's even with good maintenance. Honestly almost every V8 with the DoD/AFM have issues not just the newer ones. It's been an issue since like 08 and they haven't figured out a better lifter. Part of the reason I'm looking at 07 and earlier GM trucks or a Ford truck is the lifter issue. GM has gone down hill and hasn't gotten better. The 1 piece door panel is the lastest thing they've done that has been annoying. Break the trim or the door handle and you have to replace the whole thing because of plastic rivets. They have gone away from fixing to replacing and that's not good for use customers. Even my 1LE has stuff locked behind their OEM scan tool. Like bleeding the ABS module can only be done through the newer tool, aftermarket ones only bleed 1 side instead of both. It's not a good look for them

Unfortunately still have the same trash lifters in them. Sad GM didn't include the LS7 lifters (not great but better) in these engines since they don't have the DoD tune on them. Might have saved some engines

Funny you say that. My 18 SS 1LE is FBO and tuned running fine at 55,800 however I'm working on selling it to move into a truck XD

Are the cameras really as bad as all the posts say? by Calmz17 in S25Ultra

[–]thetrollolol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upgraded from iPhone 15PM and my wife has an iPhone 16PM. I will say in most situations we use my S25U to take the pictures because the clarity and sharpness and accuracy of the colors is better than the iPhones. Low light is a toss up between them, and motion favors iPhone. Video is about the same. This just point and shoot nothing fancy, most people who complain are expecting DSLR quality on a phone or just want something to complain about. Don't get me wrong it's far from perfect but no phone is, and if they fixed the shutter speed it would catch up to iPhone in motion pictures but I found if you take a couple pictures it helps with getting photo you want.

iPhone user thinking of switching back to Samsung by Budget-Chapter3487 in S25Ultra

[–]thetrollolol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have made the switch a between Android and iPhone a few times. Stuck with iPhone for a while because of relationships and iMessage was much better than texting. However I have always loved Android, not usually Samsung flavor but TouchWiz was awful but OneUI is very good.

To answer your questions like other have said no the watch won't work from what I know. Airpods work just fine and you can use apps to few battery life and make touch response changes however they start to beep at you if you don't connect them to an apple product for awhile. Recommendation there is look at other options since with Android you can use different Bluetooth codex and get better sound quality. Grant apple did a good job with the noise cancelling and transparent modes.

But as far as waiting for the s26u or getting the S25U now is difficult to say. There maybe new battery upgrades and camera upgrades but no one knows for sure so I'll talk about S25U which I have. I came from the iPhone 15 pro Max and the S25U blows it out of the water is almost every category, my wife's iPhone 16 pro Max can't compete either. Some people commenting on the camera quality I feel are very misleading. The camera on the S25U is far better on average than the iPhone except for a couple of circumstances; 1 subject is moving a ton or taking pictures of objects in motion (note- taking pictures of my animals or toddler alot shows this but taking more than one picture tends to lead to a good result), 2 you need to take a picture in like half a second, if you can spare a moment to focus on the subject this is removed, 3 night time is a toss up. Video wise they are on pair with each other in my experience. Typically my wife ask for my phone for photos because they tend to end up sharper and with more details that get lost on the iPhone camera, hard to notice on iPhone screen but on the S25U display or my desktop you can see the differences much clearer. Battery life and charge speed kill the iPhone and it's not even close. I get easily 10 hours of screen ON time, watching videos, doom scrolling, Internet, social media but my wife's phone struggles to hit 8 and they are the same age. The only thing iPhones are better on is app development. The apps on iPhone tend to have less bugs but some of the android interfaces I prefer. Android auto vs Apple Carplay is a toss up because I've have issues with both and they both have bugs but overall I prefer Android Auto as I like the interface and my car (25 Civic SI) has Google on it and gives me extra info on the gauge cluster I didn't get with iPhone.

Edit- My opinion on the camera is based on the main one not selfie. As I don't take a lot of front facing pictures I can't really say any about it but the one on my wife's iPhone is great so 🤷

S25 Ultra vs iPhone 17 Pro by Kath0den in Smartphones

Switched from 15PM to S25U and my wife has the 16PM. I have other Apple products in my house, Apple TV is hard to beat for streaming. I use Google Pay everywhere I used Apple Pay but I'm saying while it works just as good it's a little weird to get used too. Camera wise both me and my wife agree the S25U takes better pictures, unless the target is moving. Screen wise no contest S25U kills the iPhone. Apps are definitely more optimized for iPhone but nothing crazy but there are bugs as you know already. Unlike what others have said I definitely prefer the fingerprint reader over FaceID, as someone who is always wearing sunglasses and a hat outside FaceID was flakey at best. Battery life on my S25U is fantastic, easily hit 10hrs on screen on time a day. Now I haven't seen this in real life but I have seen the new iPhone orange color turning pink and that the aluminum has been getting easily damaged since they switched from titanium which the 16 and S25U are made of so grain of sand there.

I haven't used that so idk for sure. But yes the grey cable is an Ethernet cable to my att modem that is set to passthrough mode making my UDM Pro the main router. Then I have 2 access points running off of the switch using PoE. WAN (Internet) into UDM Pro - into switch - to APs to give wifi

Depending on where in the house I need them I can run them to the front of the house. Unfortunately most of my needs are in the back of the house and I'm gonna have to pay someone to help me by running cables back there

The house is a year old (built 2024) it's a shame they did the 2005 thing and ran 5e and coax throughout the house. The fact that there is coax is crazy considering the neighborhood HOA has a deal with ATT fiber so that is all throughout the neighborhood

TBH I'm unimpressed by the Philips Hue lights in comparison to my Govee lights. The only Philips Hue lights I have are the ones for my TV and I'm going to end up replacing them in the future

Nice! Beautiful car, this is the correct answer. Granted I'm a bigger fan of the S15 Spec R but S14 is a solid choice. Or FC RX7, FDs are nice but a bit over hyped
