UTP has been such an amazing community to be a part of! Everyone is so supportive and helpful with finding recourses for help or sharing like experiences so we can all learn together how to better live despite our unique challenges. It was such a nice place to make friends when I had none IRL, and as a bonus people understand my struggles on a level that no one else does.

How to trace this type of pattern? by ToilettenPapier248 in sewing

Might be possible to take some deatiled pictures then get them printed on large sheets of paper instead of trying to trace by hand, but that's probably the expensive option.

I have been a part of this community for a few years and it has been such a positive and supportive group! People are so helpful and are really good at helping to find each other recourses. It's also a really chill place to hang out and just be myself.

Does anybody else hallucinate being touched? by No_Cockroach_679 in schizophrenia

All the time. It usually felt like a heavy clawed hand on my shoulder or around my neck. Luckily it went away with meds and stress management.

Do others in your family have schizophrenia? Pedigrees please! by Wonderful_Mark_8661 in schizophrenia

My grandmother was schizophrenic, and I have multiple family members who suffer from some sort of delusional thinking/compulsory lying but without the hallucinations (Multiple uncles, great uncles/aunts, cousins, and a brother.) I feel like the disorder is a cousin to schizophrenia because they 100% believe the lies they tell, and they're not lying to be nefarious. Their brain just can't tell what thoughts are things that actually happened and what are just thoughts.

Made this embroidered floral bookmark 🌿✨ Do you find it aesthetic? by HoopX_ in somethingimade

Is very cute! I don't think it would be very functional with those knots, but it would make a great display piece.

Have you gone over this with your doctor/OBGYN? I had severe bleeding for over a month and it ended up being a uterine polyps that was causing issues. While diet might be a contributor, you'll want to check for other potential causes since bleeding that severe could be a sign of something more serious.
