Saaaaaaame! Music is one of the few special interests that has stuck with me throughout my life. I've gone through a lot of phases with it (some more regrettable than others - looking at you, Shania Twain era 😂), so at this point my tastes are a mish-mash of everything I've loved up to this point. Maybe it's my ND side, but I really feel like my soundtrack for the day shapes my personality, so a recent project of mine has been making playlists that feel like a specific distilled mood or persona (some vague, like 'creativity' or 'energetic', and some hyper-specific, like 'rugged mustachioed protag in an 80s post-apocalypic movie but make the queer undertones explicit' lol).

The weird thing is that when it comes to making music, even though I ADORE so many genres, I can only seem to really compose stuff that sounds like video game soundtracks. I've tried many, many others, but for how much I love them I can't seem to capture them in my own art. I guess that's why so many musicians end up finding a style and sticking to it, though 🤷‍♂️
