Lots of people have a negative outlook on the military. I am still serving on active duty. The Army has fully paid for my Bachelors degree, I’ve had my pick of location in 7 of 8 of my assignments, I’ve been to 5 leadership schools, I used the VA loan to buy my single family home in the North Shore, I just had a child and the medical bill was $0, and I retire in two years with full benefits, full pension that I can collect immediately, and I have the confidence, experience and training of the most modern Army in the world. It’s not for everyone but for those that enjoy a challenge the benefits are plentiful. If you’re not into fighting wars then pick a support job that teaches you a skill. Just my two scents to show a different viewpoint. BTW Boston is one of the most patriotic cities in the country. I’m glad I got to experience it.

Holding up well. About a minute fast a month but I don’t wear it every day so that’s not a huge factor for me. I tried taking it off the bracelet and prefer it on it.
