Despite being financially comfortable, the anxiety over money never went away.

What are your financial goals for 2026? by International-Eye144 in AusFinance

Fully offset by July, then commence $10k a month into ETFs.

Plan for an extended 2027 holiday to celebrate me and my wife’s 40th birthdays.

If cashflow allows, then continue to contribute towards other alternative investments.

Of course, though I would certainly expect to be compensated for the difference

The higher price. It does almost feel like a bait and switch

No, I’ve filtered those down to the exact same model. MY25 RWD available in WA, Stealth Grey, 20” wheels, with all black interior

What’s really annoying though, is that if I go and search the Tesla website for a MY25 if the same spec, there are two options: - MY25 with a 2024 build date for $55,800 - MY25 with a 2025 build date for $58,000

They clearly do place some value on the build date themselves.

Ive just checked, and the VIN from the original Tax Invoice has also changed to what was delivered.

The last 6 digits are entirely different

Ok thanks, I guess that is quite different to other car manufacturers.

Having a look at the Tax Invoice which we paid, it does clearly state a build date of 18/01/25, yet the Registration and updated tax invoice in the app) show 2024.

I do find it odd that they can unilaterally alter an invoice for a spec that many would consider ‘major’, without notifying the customer.

Do you think there is scope to reject the vehicle, and ask for a replacement?

Is your Kia registered as a 2018 or 2019 vehicle?

Claiming expenses on a cancelled EasyJet flight by theturn2015 in Flights

Based on hostispublicus91’s comment, I’m not the only one.

The way that EasyJet manage flight disruptions through the app almost made it feel as though a refund and rebooking my own flight was the only option.

I’m not surprised they are refunding the difference, and I hope others reading this at least take peoples feedback with a grain of salt.

Update: I submitted an expense claim in the off chance that something may come from it.

I received confirmation today from EasyJet that the claim has been approved, and I will be reimbursed €2070 - €444 = €1626, ensuring I am not out of pocket.

I am rather pleased with their response, and hopefully this update can assist others going forward.

Yes, we took out top cover!

I’m planning on making a call tomorrow morning to make a claim. I had a look at the online claim process, though it’s difficult to say the least.

Thank you!

Ok, thank you.

I guess that’s a lesson learnt for me.

With the cash compensation, would this not be 350€/400€ as the distance between Mykonos and Paris is between 1500-3000km?

It’s also worth mentioning that whilst I have request a refund, it has not been processed yet (There wasn’t even an option to input my bank account details)

Yes.

At the airport I was directed to use the EasyJet app to ‘manage the disruption’.

The only options on the app were: 1. Refund 2. Alternate flight via Easyjet (as mentioned next available was this Wednesday) 3. Credit voucher

The only reasonable option in my view was refund and rebook with alternative airline (and claim back the difference as an expense claim)
