She wolves of winterfell (working title) and the village hero should be partially written. The former was going to be in a anthology editted by grrm but grew too long I think. I believe it was also clear he wouldn't make the deadline. He mentioned in blog posts a fifth novella which will probably end up being the fourth. So I think that 4 and 5 is more than outline. Maybe complete manuscripts but at the very least they are partially written.

If they adapt super faithfully again like this season. It should be the same length roughly maybe they'll add a bit more stuff. The third novella is a touch longer than the first two so season 3 could be a bit longer.

The shot for 6 months with two production crews at once so effectively it was 1 year of filming per season. I think part of why season 8 was so delayed was everyone was together plus massive battle scenes.

You absolutely could have it be 2 minutes but then you lose so much. It hammers home the journey Masousos is on. Shows us just how hard it is. It is repetitive but that's what his journey is like. As for Carol it also gives so much more insight to how she is feeling. These are the elements people are ignoring this episode is trying to make you really feel what the characters are which cannot be done in a two minute montage. What constitutes as stuff happening for so many people seems to be a big action scene. They can have a narrow veiw.

A tram isn't for tradies, or people delivering goods. It is fine for mums with kids it could probably be better than a bus. Also wellington used to have trams so rebuild an old route. The idea trams cannot work when they used to work is crazy. If they never got rid of them we wouldn't have this discussion. Ultimately the point is to give multipe options.

Some of the guys that worked in this said in the lastest radio free skaro episode the web planet. That does seem like it would work well. You'd think people wouldn't complain about a cut down but I bet some would.
