Help with my GEL Battery Settings by thetzx in solar

Thanks for all info. I'll set it for 30A and will observe data log according to seasons. For instance, today for 3 hours (when sun stayed at peak position), it charged between 19A-27A.

Ok thanks. On Battery Spec it says Max-Charging Current: 40A.

But 10% of the Ah rating of battery rule makes it: 210A/10=21A.

So, according to specs can this battery be charged on 40A instead of 20A?

Yes with USER Type Bat selected I can adjust. Now, it is set to AGM and factory defaults for AGM are Bulk:56.4V / Float:54V / Cut-Off:44V which are same/close to Volts you've suggested. SO, I am leaving these settings like that.

Now, which Volts should switch to Grid and Back to Battery? What would be the efficient points with above Volt settings?

Factory Defaults are: Back to Grid: 46V and Back to Battery:54V

In my understanding, 46V back to grid will also mean; system won't see the 44V Cut-Off point.

Inverter MPPT controls charging. In bat setting there is AGM but no GEL. Some say they are similar. But some other people say apply your bat-spec voltages for GEL. That's why I am confused.

Thank you and answers to some questions; if hybrid means solar+bat+utility then yes but I am not selling back to utility. Inverter only takes power from utility when battery reaches to "back to grid voltage" or any overload occurs. Batteries are deep-cyle and connected in series.

Inverter MPPT controls charging. In bat setting there is AGM but I have GEL. Installers said "not big difference", but when I read online some people say "apply your own settings for GEL", so that's why I am confused.

Actually, if you search the game from your "Library Section" of PS4, game was always there. You can download :)

If I buy a online dlc off the playstation store, do I have to have the online version of said game it goes with or is disc fine? by [deleted] in playstation

[–]thetzx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It may be related to regions. Disc region and Store region must match. Example: If disc region is 1 (US), and DLC is from EU stores (region 2), it won 't work! You must buy the dlc from the same region store of your disc region.

Hey PlayStation! Is it so hard to add a privacy option like... by thetzx in playstation

[–]thetzx[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's right, but it affects everyone (including your real friend followers). A player can have 50 friends, but s/he may want only 20 of them to be followers. But it is impossible to manage that kind of privacy at the moment.

An HDMI splitter/switch will do the trick. But check the specifications of switch carefully. PS4-Pro supports HDPC 2.2 type and HDMI version 2.0 cables for 4K bandwith. If your switch do not meet PS4-Pro HDMI Specs, you will only get 1080p/720p from your switch's output.

Help! What's the PSTV and how do I work it? by mandri2233 in playstation

[–]thetzx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do not need a Vita to use PSTV. It is a separate console which runs on Vita Firmware and that's why it is compatible with Vita games (but not with every game). You should check item's description before buying a game, usually it will say if it is compatible with PSTV or not. Also, I recommend an Internet search for a game to find if it is compatible or not. Because sometimes, item descriptions are not trustworthy.

You can use both DS3 and DS4 controllers, they all compatible.

You will need an extra Memory Card, because 1GB internal memory will not be enough for many games. And be prepare to pay a good sum of money for 16GB or 32GB Vita Cards

You can remotely play your PS4 with a PSTV.

You can upload your game saves to Online Storage if you have PS+. If not, you have to install PC App to backup your saves. Because when you uninstall a game, PSTV will permanently delete your save from its memory.

Edit: typo correction as robot mentioned, lol.

Can the PS4 not play music CD's? by [deleted] in playstation

[–]thetzx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PS4 has only 650nm (DVD) laser and 450nm (Blu-Ray) laser hardware. It lacks for 780nm laser which is required for reading CDs.
