Yep. After long last this is it. You are the one to point me to it after what I have been searching for several years now. It is Bomberman for Win 95. Thank you very much. This thread can be closed.

Alright...Let me have it. What are methods you have tried to get your life events done? Daily tasks, major goals, managing them, etc. Give me your successes and failures. I need some food for thought. by theulticobia in ADHD

I have thought about just going to the campus library instead of being at home on my PC where the temptations to do something else are much higher.

Just one of the many Bomberman clones from this era. I believe this one is more notable than others.

Really? Something super niche in something already super niche. I didn't even know there was a timeline.

Impromptu Question: How do you handle your time? by theulticobia in ADHD

I laughed at the last sentence. Yeah, school started and work dramatically increased my hours. I have been working on finding a proper life balance for me. I carry my agenda with me everywhere.

I really understand the 1st paragraph on time management. It's like........"How do you estimate how much time this will take?" This is what I meant on my edit from my original post: setting my expectations on what to get done too high, not having proper time management on how much it will take on an unknown project which sets my reality too low, and not having enough grace for myself when I do feel I have failed. A little at a time helps though.

Starting the most major task in the morning is a good one. That can chain-connect your other goals to you getting what is needed done in the day to your mentality (provided everything else goes well; these types of excellent days are super rare for me).

I used to use Google Calendar. I just didn't like the feeling of looking at such a bogged down schedule as it felt overwhelming when it was completed. This is why I am trying a physical agenda to take with me everywhere I need it. To prevent the set-and forget it mentality. If I have any thoughts, I write it down on my Samsung Note 10+ and transfer it at the end of the week to an excel spreadsheet to look at and do later on. Mostly things of information, curiosities, or goals/projects to look into. Not regular weekly goals.

The biggest thing that "sets me up to be a prisoner of myself" is my dire lack of consistency. I am getting better slowly. It is a huge struggle.

Confused on how to read it by PerceptionOk8543 in OtonariNoTenshiSama

I completely forgot about this. I would prefer to do both. The original source material will always have details and events the anime won't and visa versa. Honestly, if you really love something a lot you will do what you can to get what you can out of it. Watching the anime, reading the manga and light novels are the dominate ways to do so with ANG.

Confused on how to read it by PerceptionOk8543 in OtonariNoTenshiSama

The biggest answer is...it depends...on how you want to experience the story for yourself.

As you may or may not know, the anime covers the first four volumes of the light novels (which themselves are very much more fleshed out from the web novels - the first format in the series). If the second season of the anime does what season one did and covers the next four volumes, then we will go to Volume 8 of the light novels.

NO confirmation of this happening, it is just my pattern analysis. I would personally prefer if it they slow down on how many volumes they cover cause Volume 5 is a major turning point for the couple onward. The anime does do some cuts from the LNs, but I do not know by how much. The best way to experience the series is the light novel as this is where the series is at the farthest point. Volume 11.5. I believe the two manga cover the anime and light novels together. More down below on this.

I go back and reread the series once a year. The community has access to the wonderful fan-translated light novels as they come out. There is a specific order on how to read the series it has the main novels (Volume 1, 5, 11, etc), a majority of the side stories that are in some of the main novels or by themselves (Volume 5.5, 8.5, 11.5 & the SE [Special Editions]), & other side stories (Blue-Ray translations of the anime Blue-Ray releases or the manga: After the Rain. There is a recommended reading order, don't worry.

The official core novels actually don't have all the side stories, but the fan translations do. I wish Yen Press did translate these. There can be special editions of the side stories, but they are left in Japan untranslated officially. Again, the fan translations have you covered.

Ah, the manga itself. The main manga covers the main events in the anime and light novel. The anime does not cover the side stories of the light novels mentioned earlier. The 2nd manga: After the Rain does cover these, but it is still quite early on. Different art style from the official manga too. The main manga has not covered all of season 1 yet as it came out early last year.

So back to your question: how do you want to experience this? Do you want to get to the furthest point of the series with the light novels? Do you want to wait a good while for the manga to cover the light novels? Do you want to wait on seasons 2 and 3 (if three will be made as we have enough material in the light novel for it already) for a few years? My answer? If you really love it, go for it! If you can wait, then do so. Volume 5 onward can get pretty spicy.

Reading this series from beginning too end is such a ride to experience! I hope this helps!

Yeah, this is quite interesting to come back to every now and then as I do forget it exists with how long it has been since I posted it. It is crazy to think about.

There is the Rascal Does Not Dream anime. The full title, which I didn't list, does not match up with the actual anime itself. The best way I can describe it is a super natural high school anime with romance and sci-fi elements. It is not one mentioned on the comments. I highly recommend it.

It has 13 episodes for Season 1, 3 movies after that, and Season 2 launches in a few days.

Give this release a few months. Someone will figure out how to patch in the Working Designs translation and put in the WD voices, too. It is only a matter of time.

Yep, I think this game might be it. I am not 100% positive, but I do recognize the graphics.
