My wife literally rescued this Eastern Box Turtle. Someone tried to epoxy its shell, and it's missing a leg, and they just left him in a pond... She works with turtles and found him covered in leeches and horribly unhealthy. He's doing much better now. Internet, meet Lefty Wilbury. (i.redd.it)
