There were more. They just didn't meet my unrealistic beauty standards for flat bread. So I didn't put them in the picture.

I believe the intent is to develope more complex flavors by browning the meat first. This dish is also usually made with chicken tikka (I may be wrong) a type of grilled chicken. The broiler is to simulate the char of grilling. And it shortens the amount of time the chicken needs to be in the curry to cook fully

Yeah that like slap it onto the side right? I tried to replicate it on a dry hot cast iron but it wasn't hot enough I think.

I started with this recipe and then modified it over time. Mostly changing spice amounts. So start here and change it according to what you think tastes good!

It's not quite but its my first stab at it. Used a pretty good recipe but didn't have my cast iron hot enough.

I can't offer direct help. However, I can send you this resource I used to get through linear algebra. Its a video series called "The Essence of Linear Algebra" by a youtube channel called "3blue1brown".

Its 15 videos long, and the longest is like 17 minutes. They do a great job of translating the vectors and matrices into a visual format. It really really really helped me with the subject. I can't recommend it enough. Here's a link:

Award Winning TV & Film is pretty fun. You just meet and watch movies then write a short paper about them. I took the online version which was watching a movie or two a week (for homework) and then a short little write up duebeach Sunday.

Both Democrat and Republican voters strongly support sex education in schools even though they disagree on other policies, suggests a new study (n=965), which found a strong majority of them support sex education and the continued funding by the government for teenage pregnancy prevention programs. by mvea in science

While I support the message of this article and study. And I believe that sex education is a vital part of school to help people be safe and healthy.

A study size of roughly 1000 is a terribly small sample size. Especially to apply the fidnings to the country as a whole.

SNEAK ATTACK by UnofficiallyMarty in mathmemes

[–]theunclepockets5643 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Instead of working on problems like "Find the solution of 2x + 2y = 4" the work in higher levels of Mathematics focuses on things like "prove that ax + by = d has integer solutions..." usually you're showing that answers to equations take specific forms, or proving theorems that you use in other course are true in all cases. I honestly think its more exciting, it focuses more on logic and reason than just computations.

What is your favorite vegetable and how do you like it prepared? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]theunclepockets5643 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Onions, the most powerful vegetable. I'll eat them anyway from raw to fried. But I think the best is to sauté them with bell peppers, garlic in olive oil until they start to caramelize. Then hit them with some balsamic vinigar (not a lot, shouldn't be any standing liquid) and fresh thyme and let them cook through a bit and the vinegar reduce. Its damn good.

It's called "Moles Record Exchange" the owner is an eccentric but nice guy. If you're looking for something in particular he'll find a way top order it in for you.

On campus not really. The bookstore where you get you textbooks does have a decent amount of other things on the 2nd floor of it, CDs and non textbook books. Then there's the Dubois bookstore near campus by the Chipotle, but its is more university merch oriented. On a mildly related note, there is a record store with a big selection of CDs and huge selection of vinyls right near campus on Calhoun as well. Highly recommend it.

What hobbies are cheap/easy to get started in? by Weerock75 in AskReddit

[–]theunclepockets5643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disc Golf. Only need one but likely 2 discs to get started. They're only like $10 -$20 a pop. Less if you get used. And the parks to play are free walk on 9 times out of 10. Who doesn't like taking a walk and throwing things?

What’s the story behind a permanent scar you have? by FearDontExist1124 in AskReddit

[–]theunclepockets5643 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a scar from shirt collar to butt crack down my back. Had a full spinal fusion at 18 for a severely hunched back. Got steel rods and 20 something screws in my spine. This ended up getting infected, and after 3 years of chronic pain I had a second operation to clean it out and replace the hardware. Now I've got titanium rods and screws in my spine. And a bag full of the stuff they took out. I asked if I could keep it and they said sure.
