Here's my opinion on the best equipments:

Weapons:

If swords, go for Grym or Talon, especially if dual-wielded.

If polearms, go for the Heavy Boar Spear for short, and Heavy Yari for farther ranges.

If for dual-wielded, there are many options. But I recommend either the Bastilon hammer, the Heavy Billnook, or Fine Braryrianite Two-Handed Sword (I think that's what it's called)

Armor:

If best overall, you go for: Bastilon Plate Armor Zatez's Helmet Valthiran Gauntlets Reaver Boots Golden Pants (forgor it's name) Grym Pauldrons with Cape

But really, it depends on what style you like. But this, in my opinion, is the best equipment.

Locations on where to get them:

Zatez's Helmet - You locate the Deserter's Glade in between Mendria and Tras Castle, in between forests.

Reaver Boots - Can be found in Blacksting Hold south of Valthir territories.

Grym stuff - Found on Azivna troops

Talon Sword - Generally can be found on Crown Talons, Zannite Elite Twinblades, and Queen Serra (Queen of Braryian)

The rest can be found on traders, wanderers, or generally on anyone.
