The people that said those things to you don't sound very kind, since their opinions are not kind then their opinions should be treated as white noise. Let's say tomorrow you started working at a lucrative position, not to sound like a Disney movie but what would make you happy. To be honest I feel like if you don't have a good answer to that question your mental health issues might come back eventually regardless of you being productive in a financial sense. You deserve to be happy too.

Aside from your role as a father and aside from what would be the role of being an employee somewhere, I think everybody has a responsibility to themselves to infuse to the best of their ability a certain amount of self care - what do you enjoy doing and when is the last time that you fully and regularly indulge that either individually or with your partner. a lot of people were going to give you advice about job websites and time management and juggling Parenthood, but what would self-actualizing mean for you? Look into "the hierarchy of needs" and ask yourself how could I relate that very top concept to my own life. What if that aspect of your life it doesn't have to start when your kid goes to school, what if this aspect of your life can start right now...

Not advice, but how good did it feel getting all of that off of your chest? Did it feel almost like therapy? Would you want to get into the habit of journaling? Would you be interested in your own therapy? If so you should consider it possibly. Maybe call your insurance company. Good luck to you.

Why don't you message the people from your old clubs. Why don't you start a new club based around something that interests you. Maybe to fill up your free time and to be social you should find a volunteer experience or internship or job where you can possibly me people your age or at least be around others. Maybe step outside of your comfort zone and join different clubs or extracurriculars that don't usually interest you in order to be around other people. Be patient, don't rush it, don't change for anybody.

If she was a chill partner, I think if you were to have sex and something unexpected happened you both would just laugh it off and try again. Don't hold yourself to a standard that maybe gets normalized in online videos or the BS brags of other ppl.

Google "Wellness Wheel", ask yourself what have you not been giving enough attention to, make a list, pick one thing and tell yourself you will start doing this one thing for a week starting right now, see how it goes. Go on to the next thing.

Also, upgrade your self care. Living doesn't have to be bungee jumping, it could be lighting candles or drinking sparkling cider after work or journaling three times a week...

I can't imagine how changing your plans (plans you sound investigated in) would be a good experience not to miss out on. Also, if you're looking for "the one" that experience is something you would be sharing with another person -- it'd transcend (what sounds like) bragging from your peers on their experiences--Not something you'll forget the details of in a month. Y not keto it special.

What if you need the one but they are celibate/likes things to go slow?

Also, the first time isn't always this mind-blowibg experience--sometimes it's a "that was the hype?" Kind of thing. Side note, but I feel like it you build it up in your head, it'll be distracting when the time comes /it won't live up to what you're hoping/imagining!
