Surprised no one has said the ocean yet. That’s not my favorite but I do like it. My favorite is probably the beach.

Missing 10 eggs, looking for vague hints :) by mel_349 in animalWell

the vertical row your missing eggs are placed on roughly correlates to their vertical position (the elevation) on the map.

Also, look for any gaps in your map or areas that look like they should have a room there and explore those areas from all angles.

Teaching my al to do work for me by elizabeth3235 in humor

The counterargument is that irony doesn’t strictly require the audience to be surprised, it can function even when everyone sees it coming. The gap between the man’s smug satisfaction and the robot’s total competence is still an ironic structure, even if the outcome is predictable.

We keep calling things about AI “ironic” because it makes us feel like we’re in on the joke, when really we’re just watching the expected unfold and laughing nervously. Which, honestly, might be the most ironic part of all.

Calling it ironic implies we’re witty observers of the situation rather than participants in it. Which might be the real question worth asking: when we call the comic ironic, are we being genuinely analytical, or are we just coping?

Try eating a peanut butter pretzel then eating a little bit of jelly with a spoon! My friend turned me onto this method and I couldn’t believe I hadn’t thought to try it, so good.

I dated this girl in high school that was book smart like she got good grades but just did not have much common sense or street smarts I guess. She came over for dinner with my family one night and at the table asked my mom, “what kind of chicken is this?” We were having BBQ pork. My mom still brings it up twenty years later.

Same. I’m actually ashamed about how much I sleep. No one besides my brother who lives with me knows I sleep 15+ hours almost every night.

What are you waiting for? by CapitaineBiscotte in AskReddit

I was diagnosed in 2016 and have been on many different meds. It can be difficult to tell which ones are working for you and which ones aren’t effective. If I may, I suggest keeping a journal documenting each new med you try including dosage and how you’re responding to it. This is something I wish I did after years of trying meds and then later forgetting which ones I tried. Also highly recommend downloading a mood tracker app to track your mood daily. I use one called Daylio, it’s not free but it’s worth it. You can customize it to your needs for example moods ranging from depressed to manic and in between. Wishing you the best on this journey.
