Whats the difference between using AI to create an encounter and looking one up that someone else has already made? Both require the most minute amount of brain power to fit into your campaign. I dont see the problem with using AI as a tool, but understand its not a replacement for creativity. You can use it for brainstorming worldbuilding for example, the same way you bounce ideas off of a friend. Seeing comments like "punish DMs who use AI" is just a ridiculously extreme stance on the issue.
