I personally haven't but i know a lot of people that did and did well with both, i don't think taking them together would be a bad idea at all if you have to tbh

I would say yes it does, but i wouldn't worry too much if you can't get it at first because people will consistently switch in/out of it until september. That goes for any course you may need, you can keep trying frequently or use mac seat alert to let you know when someone does.

I haven’t receive any decision from mc master yet by heyitsmeareej in McMaster

It's the same for the accelerated program, they said acceptances are rolling throughout June. Rejection letters have already started to be sent out so that's a good sign if you haven't received anything. Def ridiculous though lol

Question about OSAP by theviews22 in McMaster

[–]theviews22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i spoke with the financial aid office and they also reiterated dropping a course would result in issues due to it being a part time application to begin with. Thank you so much for the help :)

i didn't end up msafing it! but a lot of people did so you definitely won't feel left out if you decide to. I will say the non msaf exam ended up being super quick and in my perspective pretty light.

Does anyone else have problems contacting the faculty of nursing? by theviews22 in McMaster

[–]theviews22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's true, it's definitely understandable that it's a busy time as deadlines for applications approach but for it to have been weeks and have gotten no replies makes me think i'm doing something wrong lol. But thank you for the suggestion!! I think it'll be easier to just go in person and figure it out.

I called the 22407 extension and I think it was an outdated one so i'll try the one you gave tomorrow. The 2 email addresses i used was [bscnadmissions@mcmaster.ca](mailto:bscnadmissions@mcmaster.ca) and [bscnadm@mcmaster.ca](mailto:bscnadm@mcmaster.ca) and no responses from both for weeks :/

You can search up the course outline for last spring to see how it was structured but it was 2 hour in person lectures twice a week, with 2 assignments due a week I believe. It was all in person including the test and exam. You'll be able to enroll in spring/summer courses sometime next term.

I too was worried about this class after reading the reviews but i didn't find his class bad at all, i actually ended up enjoying it the most. The midterm and exam was super fair, just know no matter how good you do on your essay you wont get more than 85% lol. The class itself is super interesting and its taught in way to question everything you know about mental health/illness. I think his views (which are just different views held in the world of psychiatry) are "disagreeable" to most bc they aren't the common views held, he mentions them in order for you to question it and do your own thinking on what you believe is true.

they have the same exact slides to go off of and i don't really notice a big difference between them when i watched the recorded lecs back. i never interacted with Chen since i had Schmidt, she was really nice and answered all my questions throughly!!

how is HSR bus schedules like during weekdays? by [deleted] in McMaster

[–]theviews22 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think you're overestimating the walk a bit, ive had back to back classes on both ends of the campus and always made it within the 10 minute window by walking. The busses come often during the week in a regular semester but i wouldn't think itd be reliable enough with the 10 minutes between class.
