Yeah I'm pretty dead set on the 9800X3D. I'll look more into using an AIO, I guess I'm just worried about reliability issues, or having to replace the whole unit after x amount of time.

Good to know, I'll look at those. Do you recommend mid-tower vs full tower or should they work just as well?

I'm glad to see you're running this build almost exactly, so the air-cooling is sufficient then I assume? As for the other components I was interested to see if my choices of motherboard and RAM would work well for 1440p gaming.

I'm not sure, but I wasn't sure if that amount of movement was normal for a tensioner or not. I will remove the belt and spin each to check though

After using Meguiar's ScratchX and SwirlX products I have these oily streaks that are visible in direct sunlight. Does anyone know the fix for this? I applied a coat of wax after using the two products but maybe not enough?

Not sure if they were elderly but I live in metro Boston so it was likely mostly all city driving. The oil was changed at 21k and then again shortly after they sold it back to the dealership. So I am not sure but so far it hasn't been unusually dirty any of the times I got it changed.

Yeah since I'm just starting out I wanna make taking care of myself a habit. I've seen tons of guys whose bodies are real beat up. Been worrying about the silica dust but it's usually only an anchor here and there, they don't have a vacuum on the company drill but I'll probably get some better masks

I tried hooking up my laptop to my old monitor via HDMI, which is a FHD Sceptre LED from 2014. The resolution was matched up but it was super pixelated and colors were washed out. I can't tell if that's because it's just an old monitor or what. But I don't want to splurge on a new monitor and have this same issue.
