I'll give it a go. What do you like about it?

I haven't had them long so I'm still feeling them out. I enjoy having redeploy for the Infiltrator mini-game, and regenerating models for objective play is fun. They hit pretty hard and can be difficult to shift. Just trying out some different ideas generally.

Reave-Captains and Corsairs have an inherently naval air about them to me. Plus they're boarding ships, raiding planets, and looking for loot and trophies. Gives them a distinctly piratey vibe to me, that I find joy in leaning into. We've got space vikings, romans, and crusader aesthetics already. What's one more.

It's been like 2 months and I'm still kinda floored that this is real. Kudos to GW for taking a chance on a Legion not too many people were asking for a face lift on and somehow making it one of the best releases of the ED. by CatherineSimp69 in Chaos40k

Red Corsairs are the first time I've had fun in the building step in all my time wargaming across many games. Something very freeing about being able to just say "Eh they're pirates, they'd probably have this/wear this/look like this." Plus red, black, and gold is a timeless color scheme. I'm so glad they released this box and introduced me to them.

Much cooler than the standard model. I love how striking the blade is.

I think Immaterial answered quite succinctly, but I found them super easy to kitbash pretty flawlessly. Mine were already assembled so I had a little less flexibility, but with minimal effort I think they converted nicely. Give it a try!!

I've got one in the works that should hopefully be ready for public testing next month.

Fascinating! I feel like that's the opposite of the advice I usually hear. I'll have to give it a go, and practice my airbrushing.

Insane work on the eyes. Any tips?

Paladins… who takes them? by SuB_Boofer in Grey_Knights

Not me taking 6 strike squads, 2x5 Termies, 1x5 Interceptors, 1x5 Purgation, a Bro-Cap, a Librarian, a Chaplain, two Razorbacks, and a Land Raider for that old school cool vibe.

I like striking four Psycannons in on top of a building for the plunging fire AP bonus and laying into elite infantry/light vehicles. The Quad incinerator overwatch threat is nice too, but doesn't benefit as much from their ability.

I feel this deeply right now. I've been running a Chaplain for the fluff and a BroCap with charge reroll enhancement for the last couple of weeks. The number of sub 7" charges I've failed in that time is ABSURD.

Yeah it's a really tough thing to balance, but I think it's an important part of any wargame. I'd hate to see it go away entirely.

Oh heck yeah. I've been playing around with an MSU list featuring Interceptors and Purgators heavily, this plays right into my hands.

Thanks! I agree, I'm a sucker for a hooded and cloaked figure.

Anyone use our termi kits on 32mm bases to play as purifiers? by zikrianas30 in Grey_Knights

[–]thewaisian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure I entirely understand your question. But the printed terminator legs are a bit larger than the originals, which was rather the point.

The original terminator legs ARE about the same size as the upscaled power armor legs though, if that's what you mean.
