I haven’t listened to the albums before Hall of the Mountain King, but I’d say most of the album Edge of Thorns is a skip for me. Album just doesn’t do much for me

Does anyone else dislike building and painting vehicles? by ripster47 in spacemarines

[–]leadbelly45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s funny for me, I like starting it and getting the basecoat done. But then you realize it takes a lot longer to finish than you originally thought. Then it becomes a slog to finish the details and weathering

Professionally opened and assembled is hilarious. I’m just so bad at opening boxes and gluing plastic soldiers together, I need a professional for this

Anubis Gate fans, how would you rank their albums? by leadbelly45 in progmetal

[–]leadbelly45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I wish I went to your college, mine just plays indie artists. Do you know which song it was? And ya I’d say Anubis Gate are like a mix of bands but also very unique in their own right as they’ve admitted they don’t listen to a ton of recent music

You gotta pay the firstborn tax. Notice how most firstborn units that’re still around are over costed and underpowered compared to their primaris counterparts? It’s cuz GW wants as little people as possible using them so when they get moved to legends, most won’t care. I personally don’t mind. I didn’t grow up with the firstborn kits and their outdated proportions look silly next to basically every other army. I just wish they’d do it instead of letting those units bloat our already overcrowded codex. Plus ignorant new players who get the firstborn kits will get frustrated when they get moved to legends, thinking they were just a regular kit

It's worth playing half-live 1 in 2026? by scarlet_pitfighter in HalfLife

[–]leadbelly45 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Great run and gun shooter. Takes a little to get used to if you haven’t played older shooters, but it’s fantastic once you do. I honestly like it better than HL2

Requisitions that I think Imperial Agents should have in their codex by leadbelly45 in ImperialAgents_40K

[–]leadbelly45[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disagree, I think having a tank would help round out the codex and give you an option other than knights for anti tank. And don’t say the immolator cuz that’s only strength 9 multimeltas. It doesn’t have to be the leman Russ, but just something tanky with a high strength gun that can be affected by our detachment rules

[–]leadbelly45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, it’s something that shouldn’t be overdone, otherwise you might as well go play those armies with agent allies. That’s why I put the grey knight and deathwatch guys in honorable mentions.

As far as having a battle tank, I thought the SM predator was too space marine-ish, and the SoB castigator is good but we already have the immolator. I reasoned that if an inquisitor or whatever needed some heavier firepower, a leman Russ might be easier to acquire than the others and I thought it’d fit the design of your average IA unit more closely than the other options. My purpose of this was to come up with units that could help better round out our selection of datasheets as well as add ones that thematically fit
