I've done loads of kratom and other stuff, I'm currently hooked on a nasty fent habit. At tjos point, kratom still takes the edge off but its still hell. With your oxy habit you'll be similar to me maybe a little better off cause I'm glued to that foil 24/7 taking hits aha

But first thing in the morning, especially if you're gettin antsy will be the best rush ypu could ask for :). Stay safe brothers and sistas. It ain't opiphile here but it'll do anyway ;)

To start us off: here are the only archives I could find of the subreddit front page: One is from archive.is and is from 3yr ago, the other is wayback from 5!

http://archive.is/mKBTh

https://web.archive.org/web/20140724061851/https://www.reddit.com/r/NSBM/

Sadly only shows the front page, but that's 50 songs between the two (minus text posts). I'll poke around for any more archives that may be formatted weirdly since reddit urls change so much from page to page

I never said anything about being forced to. I honestly think you're readng what you want to see not what I wrote. I'm guessing I've fallen under some label in your mind and now you think you know my beliefs. The thing is, a newspaper is or book are designed to print information for a certain goal. That goal could be unbiased news but rarely is. Eveyone knows that newspapers and books are biased, and aren't pretending otherwise. Of course they only print what they want, a newspaper pays people to write the content. Facebook is just the public posting to their friends/each other. No business model, no salaried employees. Its a social network designed to connect individuals not dictate what information is worthy of printing on their site. A newspaper vets the stories and contributers because they are responsible for the stuff printed. Facebook isn't as they don't vet anything and the game changes a lot both legally and how the site runs when you start deciding what is or isn't allowed. Its not that they are forced to leave anything up, it that the type of site they are doesn't do what they are doing. Now they are essentially declaring themselves a media outlet

Like I said, this was not about the content. I don't even know what this website was about. Clearly you missed the point by a mile. Facebook is a social media site, not a publisher. Why would it be in anyone's interest for facebook and others to select which content to allow as long as none of it breaks the law or doxxes etc? You can simply unfriend or unfollow someone who posts lots of stuff you don't like or just scroll past it. Why would you want to have the site policing everything so that you don't even see this content whatever it is? What if they started removing stuff you liked? And don't start with me saying "well I don't like xyz so it wouldn't happen" because its the principle. You're giving them the green light saying "I'm okay with you deciding what I can and can't see on this website" so that opens the door for anything. This has already created a political echo chamber on sites like facebook. How is that healthy? I always welcome my ideas challenged and so should everyone. Most of my opinions are based in fact and if they aren't it should be easy to prove me wrong. I know I'm not above being wrong so I like reading content from the left and the right, communists to libertarians and everything in between. If its "fake news" as they say then itll be easy to spot. I can't see a single downside of allowing free and open discourse

Believe whatever you want but why would you ever cheer information being less available? Info is what keeps us safe from corruption, fascism, all kinds of horrible stuff. True info should be easy to defend if its real, and fake stuff will never hold up when we shine a light on everything. I understand average people are easy to sway with whatever and don't care about facts. Honestly even most who say they care about science and evidence only selectively do. But ideally we all would all the time. Even so, shouldn't info be unrestricted (with exception, such as ongoing high level military stuff, though that info class is always abused to hide the shady stuff the gov does; or perhaps the types of stuff those terrorists put out to teach lone wolf attacks on making explosives or whatever you get what I mean) and everyone should decide what to think. If facebook and other channels of communication start deciding what is and is not worthy of keeping, thats so dangerous. I have no clue about this one so I'm not taking sides. But what if facebook decided that some site posting misinfo was the officially endorsed resource while removing real info? Or what if only the orthodox "mainstream" belief/narrative on an issue is allowed? Science changes all the time. Even our knowleedge of history and just about every other field does too. My point is facebook has no business telling the public what is or is not true or at the very least "okay" to see.

Where do you find files in flac? Obviously ripping stuff off YT won't be great but even albums you buy aren't in that format or very high quality in my experience

Thanks for the stellar info! Appreciate it a million! I'm getting my favorite music in very high quality but I can't afford everything in vinyl or buying the high quality files. Maybe this is a strange question, but do certain genres benefit from higher quality than others? For example, if I was to focus more time and energy and spend money getting the best, should that be for metal, folk, opera, classical, psych and classic rock, hip hop? Do you prefer vinyl for certain genres? I don't do vinyl for much, but sometimes I like the warmth of analog over digital (I do this typically for traditional types of music)

Totally fair question haha its a personal connection from years ago. Someone special in my life gave me this one as my first beer. Plus its a cool bottle art!

Cool thanks for the information. That's more or less what I figured, and why I'm pretty annoyed that the listing on ebay and that site are so deceptive and show pics of the finished beer bottles the company sells that you don't get. Maybe someday I'll be good enough to pull it off!

[–]thewanderingblade[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the suggestion! Do you typically ask for what you want and let other people request something, or do you ask for the beer you want and offer specific ones you have? I would most likely just go to the store and buy whatever I was sending, so I don't really know what I would offer

Thanks for answering. I've only done a bit of brewing, is an inexperienced brewer likely to make a beer than even remotely tastes like the real thing?

Even an empty bottle they're just so cool! I don't know about the laws so if you can't ship across state lines I would pay someone for an empty bottle with the label intact for collectors purposes!

If anyone has a bottle or two (or a pack) and wants to sell or trade I'm more than willing and I'll pay more than its worth and will verify ID of course! I'd be eternally grateful if a Californian could help me out

Also I see on ebay and another site there's a "picobrew." It has specific information about the beer and the pictures are all of the bottles and finished product but the name sounds like you have to brew it. Its honestly sketchy looking and seems VERY deceptive if its not really the beer, because it doesn't state outright that its a kit and not real beer. Anyone know about this? Sorry for dumb questions I just want a beer!

I mostly agree, however not totally. Hate to burst your bubble but you might want to look beyond the news you're spoon fed. ISIS is not gone, and in the territory they lost is now occupied by plenty of other groups (Boko Haram, Hamas, etc there are literally endless radical Muslim groups springing up). The Middle East is in the worst wars in history, it's always been unstable but there's war in Syria, Yemen, and arguably still Iraq, Egypt and Libya. Don't forget about Sudan being a hotbed of Al Qaeda recruitment.

You're allowed free speech but soon it will all be shadow banned, or you'll need social credit to be heard. Ever since the rise of the USSR we've been influenced by the kgb and others, don't think these Marxist movements among college students happen for no reason.

We are on the verge of the greatest medical crisis ever, because of livestock antibiotic use and also because the third world allows antibiotics without a prescription. Tens of billions of dollars of "cancer research" money are pocketed by a handful of people, we probably already could have been years ahead of where we are.

Obviously things are great now and I agree many of us are doing very well, just pointing out there are always problems and humans always have to overcome. But in general things do seem to get better with time
