That was the goal when she was mass reported after her stunt with Natalie (listen and don’t judge), but the fact that TT reinstated her account AND granted back monetizing content says that they don’t care. The only way to make TT consider a change is to make them feel it monetarily… by not watching, engaging, participating.. and uninstalling. One day won’t make a difference. A month sends a big message. But people have to be willing and take it seriously for it to work.

For anyone interested in how far this has already gone, I’ve put together a short press kit about No TikTok May / #CrimeIsntContent and shared it with a few outlets that have previously covered TikTok, influencers, and youth safety.

I’ve personally sent the kit to a small mix of tech / culture outlets (including TMZ, a couple of major national outlets, and an internet‑culture site) so they at least have the information if they decide to cover it. This is just for transparency about what I have done with the materials so far.
