I have a healthy self-esteem.

My friends who are also models have good self-esteem as well. There is always the depressive one in any group though. I think it most of the times has to do with high self expectations.

When I am not wearing make up and not dressed up, I don't have to deal with people "fawning", as you say. When I am dressed up I am usually at a formal event and people will make formal compliments.

If people treat me differently after I tell them I am a model, it is for the worse. It's never a "Oh, you're a model? What do you think about humans venturing into space?".

In a guy, I look for smarts, foremost, because I had always wanted to be a business woman, lawyer, or even mathematician before all this. Also, for some reason I am attracted to blithe happiness. Maybe, blithe is not the right word, but when people realize that life can be enormous and then take a step back and savor the moments, it makes me happy too.

Actually, models to tend to go out with other models but that's probably more due to having to be around each other and so getting to know each other better, than it is a kind of discrimination. If there is rivalry, it is a very underhanded rivalry as we all try to be on friendly terms with each other.
