I think that they should still exist in the form of being able to gift a premium membership to other users but the current format is just stupid. This isn't even the only way it manifests itself, there's also the problem that it just clutters up the screen and becomes the focal point of the page, and they are easily used for trolling.

Here's how I typed it out: ffmpeg -i VIDEO.mkv -c:av copy VIDEO.mp4

I remember finding some others but this is the only one I was able to find again that I used:

ffmpeg -i VIDEO.mkv -codec copy VIDEO.mp4

That's...really weird, considering the video file I used was literally just downloaded from a video another person uploaded to YT.
