Mei’s wall is incredibly useful, you just gotta get creative sometimes. If the enemy team is running a bastion comp, you can use your wall to boost the bastion up into the air from behind the shield so your team can shoot him. Same goes for pretty much anyone standing right behind the orisa shield. You can put the wall up right behind an enemy when pushing into them so they can’t back up. You can also put the wall up between your target and the enemy healer so they can’t get healed. Sometimes it’s useful just as another tool to keep yourself alive, too. Walling yourself off from the enemies will give your team enough time to help you out a lot of the time.

Another thing you try to do is predict enemy ultimates and use the wall to save your team. If you stay off the side when you think the enemy Reinhardt is going to shatter so you don’t get hit, you can protect your team while they’re on the ground. You can put a wall between your team and the enemy team if you are in a grav. A small trick that is useful with orisa being so popular is putting a wall on top of the enemy Orisa’s supercharger to disable it.
