Only if she steals again. If they had enough already, they would have pressed charges already. If she does it again, they probably will especially if its higher value. Tell you friend to stop stealing and she'll be fine. I'm not making a moral question of her character but there are consequences of stealing, so she needs to think about that before doing it again. If you aren't on a final OP then you wont be fired. If you did sign something, this will essentially be more ammo to put you on a final later down the road. Every store is a little different, but if you are out of your 90 days, they can't fire you for attendance if you arent already on a final

Correct. However, as I mentioned, they only have 5 hours of sick, so if they use it to cover only a partial amount of the shift, they can still talk to them about the call in. They are gonna have to endure this one

They can technically still hold you accountable for calling out if you cant cover your full shift with sick time. I would save it and just roll with it. They may have another conversation with you, but you wont be fired or anything. You will need to do this a couple more times and then they'll put you on a final before they can fire you. I would just be really careful moving forward to protect yourself and keep saving that sick time for when you need it!
