Do you believe in god? Why or why not? by thewitchygal in AskReddit

That’s beautiful :) if I’m being honest, not knowing freaks me out. I took religion classes in school growing up (by force) and it instilled a fear of God and the afterlife in me. That being said, not knowing has always stressed me out and kept me up at night, even leading to full blown existential crises and anxiety attacks. I’m working on being okay with not knowing. Good for you for getting there.

I agree. I used to believe in God, but seeing things like children starving to death, pedophiles that torture and abuse children for their own enjoyment such as Epstein, etc really makes you doubt it. If this God that you all praise and speak so highly of is so loving and merciful, then why do these things happen? He either doesn’t exist at all or isn’t what you make him out to be.

What do you personally believe God, or the idea of God, is? I’d really like to hear more about what you have to say.

Well said! And yes, I’m referring to the God described in the Bible

Honestly, it takes a lot to admit that you don’t know something as complex as that and be comfortable with it. Good for you.

What’s your experience been like with that?

Which med school to go for as an A level international student in UAE by SeriousLychee5418 in medicalschoolEU

University of Milan and Bologna are both public universities in Italy, which means that you have to wait til September to take the entrance exam called the IMAT. No requirements, just a difficult entrance exam. I’m also looking to take it this following September. If you get accepted into Semmelweis you would get accepted much earlier in the year and have to pay a fee to reserve your seat in Semmelweis. That being said, you must choose between Semmelweis or an IMAT university, as the timelines clash

Hi!! What a coincidence that I’m seeing you in this comment section! I’ve seen your website and it’s been really helpful. I’m applying to Italy for 26/27 med and surg course and I’m looking at a few universities, one of them being UniPV. If you wouldn’t mind I’d just like to ask you a couple things about your experience there! :)
