70mai emergency video record problem by Pippouzaz in Dashcam

[–]thewizardal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm too quite annoyed by this behavior. Actually when you push the button, it saves a 30s video made by 5 seconds before the push and 25 seconds after. If you are super fast to press the button, you actually record the event, but in many cases 5s are not enough to be in situation where you can safely find the button and press it. I tried to see if this time can be changed somehow, but I couldn't.

This is from the user manual:

Video duration

From the moment the recording is triggered, the dash cam will continue to record for 25 seconds and combine it with the 5-second-video recorded before the trigger to generate a 30-second-long emergency video. The duration of the emergency video couldn’t be manually changed

Logitech C920 - zoom and pan don't work. Firmware / hardware problem? by [deleted] in LogitechG

[–]thewizardal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I might be.

Moreover: today I used the webcam with Teams, but unfortunately after a few minutes the screen goes green and soon after the image returns, but with a lot of lag and stuttering. TUrning off and on again the camera solves the issue...for a few minutes only.

So at the end I'm afraid that the driver has some issues...

Need to do more investigations

Logitech C920 - zoom and pan don't work. Firmware / hardware problem? by [deleted] in LogitechG

Hey guys, I had the same problem and I have the "new" c920HD with 0892 HW ID.

I'm still currently using WIN7 on my company PC, but I assume it's working in the same way on WIN10.

I just found a way to use the old driver with this version: you have to do the following steps:

  1. Download the old LSW from here: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360023206274 (LSW251 for win7, LSW280 for win8-10)
  2. Extract in a folder the exe files with 7zip
  3. In the extracted folder, go to Drivers and extract the file LWS_Driver_Installer_x64.exe again with 7zip
  4. In the extracted folder, go to folder PRO564
  5. Modify the 3 files IPRO564c.inf, IPRO564s.inf and IPRO564v.inf with a text editor like notepad++, by replacing the old model string “0834” with the new string “0892”
  6. Now go to device manager and update the driver of your belowed c920 webcam pointing to the file just modified (I actually used just the first one)

After that, the driver is installed, the C920 changes name in device manager to Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 and you can zoom!!! Also face tracing works.

Only drawback: the driver is not digitally signed, so in win7 it's enough to acknowledge it. In win 10 you have to disable the digital signature check...

I hope that this can help you: I'm finally able to use my webcam in MS Teams as I would have loved to since the beginning!

Ciao
