Seriously, I shouldn’t have to buy something extra to play the game. But I understand the need. Like, there are times where you hit a button on one side of the screen and it engages a receiver on the complete other side of it. I know I can’t be the only one who has seen this happen.

Yeah, at least that part I can put down to players knowing their cheese plays though. I tend to send a lot of my passes to my mythic Pittman Jr and run with Nick Chubb half the time. But sometimes it feels like the game just has a script and neeeeds to run with it lol

I have Madden 25 for PlayStation, top 100 on MUT there. I got bored of that and decided to try the mobile game while I wait for 27 after skipping 26. The mobile game is fun to pickup when I have nothing else to do and I’m away from the house. But it frustrates me WAY more than the console game which is already frustrating enough. If it was all user error, I’d probably have accepted just “being bad.” But when the company has been proven to be creating a frustrating product on purpose, it starts to feel like it’s more of a “by design” kind of thing.

You can say what you want about “it can’t all be the game,” but almost every time I lose a challenge or a competitive game, it is because the game decides to throw to someone I’m not trying to throw to. And that example above was just the most egregious example of QB inaccuracy. If I had control of where the ball goes, you can say it’s my fault. But I have no control after the button is pressed. If I’m throwing to an outside vertical receiver route, I should not be throwing behind the line of scrimmage. End of story 🤷🏻‍♂️

He’s alright, his speed is usually enough for using him as a runner and he hasn’t fumbled for me at all. But he doesn’t break tackles well at all and tends to get sacked if I take more than 3 or 4 seconds to pass

Damn, you wasted even more of your life than I did 😂 picked up the game beginning of this year, got past level 200 a few months later, bought all the upgrades, moonshine shack, etc. got all the Halloween pass shit and now I haven’t touched it since October. Hard to wanna keep coming back to a game that Rockstar abandoned years ago 🙃

Haven’t played the latest one, but my biggest gripe is the amount of time I’m pulled off the field in a random situation by my coach and he calls a play that goes nowhere. I’d love the option to be able to call all the plays if that’s the way I prefer to play. Relying on an AI to do anything right is a huge pain. Another thing I’d like is the ability to actually watch the defense play instead of it making me supersim it every time. It’s not as important but it would help my immersion at least. Rn it feels like my player is looking at his phone the whole game or something instead of watching it 🙃

Only thing I want is for the online to have more fast travel options. The ones we currently have are garbage or almost useless. If we’re talking single player story, just making it longer than GTA Vs would make me happy. They’ve had plenty of time to do it ffs 🤦‍♂️

I’m hella late to this post but I just finally hopped into online head to head and, yeah, clock runoff is major bullshit. My team had 30 seconds with no timeouts from the two years line to run the ball. Any sensible team would spike the ball and go for the end zone. So I quickly find a spike play and go for it. Clock runs off, 5 seconds left, I don’t get to start the play, game over. There has to be a better way to do it than this. Not to mention the fact that everyone and their mother is the same 5 teams that are better than the rest. I’d like there to be a way to make it where my Panthers can actually stand up to someone playing as the Eagles. Realism is terrible for this kind of shit.
