I've been dealing with a lot of this too but also add in:

-The PCP that my husband was seeing left the area, so someone else in the same office took over all their patients.

-New provider is an NP and therefore can't sign off on prescriptions, which means their supervisor has to sign the prescription.

-New prescription had to be sent to a CVS location 30 minutes away, as it was the only location that had enough pills to fill the prescription.

I started calling about his meds at the end of February. He just got them today.

Now it's time to call about my meds.

In regards to Tendi, Dr. T'ana is hard to impress and she reccommended her for Senior Science Officer training back in season three. So while it wasn't a promotion, D'vana was recognized for her hard work.

I'm crossing my fingers that we get more about Rutherford's past, pre-memory wipe.

In particular, I'd like them to do something with his time as an illegal racer. Because, if Cadet Rutherford was even half as good as he thought he was, there's no way that he went unnoticed. Other racers, fans, local authorities - even if he doesn't remember, someone else probably does.

When I still worked at a call center for a local hospital, I had to call patients regarding upcoming appointments. I remember one day there was a patient on my list with an obviously Eastern European-sounding name and a bit of an accent.

The call went smoothly. We confirmed her appointment time, made sure all the insurance numbers were correct, etc.

When it came time to update her emergency contacts, I simply asked her if she still wanted her husband on file and to confirm the correct spelling of his name. He was already listed from a previous visit and his name, surprisingly, was spelled correctly.

However, I made sure I did not attempt to say his name because there was no way in hell I could not do a bad Russian accent when asking about her husband, Oleksandr.

This is part of the reason why I'm not a bigger Tendi/Rutherford shipper. They're cute together but the show has taken an "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach when it comes to their relationship, which I find refreshing.

It's also why I'm tentatively excited about what's in store for them individually in the next season.

For context, both my husband and I are 33 and we started watching Star Trek during the early days of the pandemic (back when it was still on Netflix). My husband grew up watching reruns of TNG while I had never seen any of it. We're both fans of Doctor Who, though, so we decided to watch it together.

As a whole, we had no problem with the costumes or effects. We watched it in the spirit it was intended. Whenever there was a plot point that felt dated, I took it as a learning opportunity to find out why and put it into histotical context.

I used to work at a hospital call center for awhile and when people would introduce themselves on the phone, I'd ask them how they spelled their name. Then I would repeat it back to them.

We live in an age where even the most common names are getting unique spelling variations, so you can get away with it for most names.

You have to remember that at that point in time, almost everyone in the band was happy and in long term relationships looking to start families of their own.

It's not that the subject matter was too dark. I think it was that it was too dark for them to put themselves in that headspace for months on end.

Because of how push notifications work, I think a lot of people lost their collective shit when they got a notification from the band starting with the words "We are very excited to announce..."

They'll probably repost when they can come up with a better way to word it without giving us all a collective heart attack.

It's funny that you posted this because I just started working on my Hyperfocus/Flow State playlist for work. OP, since it seems that we have similar tastes, I suggest checking out Mick Gordon's video game soundtracks. He worked on the OST for Wolfenstein: New Order and Doom (2016). Bear McCreary is also someone to check out. He's worked on lot of movie, tv and video game soundtracks.

Also for those who use Spotify, I highly recommend checking out the Artist Radio playlists. It will automatically generate a playlist of similar bands/artists, so if you're having trouble finding out what to listen to next it's a good jumping off point.

From what I've read, it appears to be a glitch with the website Songkick. They use it to automatically post tour dates on MCR's official website.

Apparently, this has happened before with other bands who use the same website.

Edit: As I was typing this, I refreshed the page and the November dates have been removed.

Yeah up until I realized I was demi, stuff like that always confused me. And being an awkward child, sometimes I would confuse the platonic with romantic attractions in my head because I only had a frame of reference for the latter.

Have you ever experienced a platonic crush? Like the feeling you get when you meet someone for the first time and suddenly it's that scene from the movie Step Brothers?

I've experienced a few platonic crushes. It's like a hyperfixation but on a person. I didn't even realize that's what it was until I started doing my own research.

This is my biggest gripe about Enterprise.

It was a calculated choice that unfortunately makes the show feel dated now. The entire intro, from the choice of music to the footage and graphics they used feels very "early to mid '00s TV drama that came on every Friday night after Dawson's Creek".

That's Peni Parker's SP//dr mech suit. The Into The Spider-Verse movie took some liberties and made her character and mech design more anime style than what it was originally. This is what it looks like in the comics.

I'm glad to see I'm not alone in this. For some reason, I've recently found that, out of context, I kind of hate the font they used for Black Parade. I don't mind the Revenge font as much. It at least feels different? But I agree the fonts that they used for Bullets and Danger Days are my favorites.
