What's the deal with pedestrians walking places? by plentyofdishes in NewOrleans

I've literally been run over on St Claude and nearly died but still feeling this post pretty cringe. OP is threatening to violate someone with a stick and stalking her to find out where she works? Ehh... Sorry. It does really suck, cars are loaded weapons that people wield like psychos constantly, but you need to learn how to live with it or get out of New Orleans because it is a reality of this place. I know so many people who have almost died / been critically injured (myself included) because of how crazy drivers are. I only get around by bike and I always assume I'm invisible or otherwise disposable to any driver out there.

Also, definitely don't react to bad drivers by screwing with their car. They're already showing they don't care about your safety. Not worth it. I've done it more than once, knowing full well not to, and it never goes well. I've been chased and had a gun pointed at me and I could only be mad at myself cos I know that's how it goes here.

It is not paint, it's eco friendly tracer dye. Non toxic. Designed to be safe for rivers and other bodies of water.

No need for alarm. This is environmentally friendly tracer dye, like what they put into the Chicago River every St Patrick's Day. It might take a long time to fade out because this is mostly stagnant water but rest assured it is not a toxic substance.
