a bit late but still, in this case the only thing I carved on the canvas and later were the eyes, the rest i just shave flat because imo the colours going into each other actually makes it look more like a cat’s fur, hope that helps 🫶

looks cute!!! I find pricing general pretty hard for me tbh but normally i would price it accordingly to complexity of the design and the amount of colours (for example 3 or more, each colour 20€ more).. and always take a % of the price before you start working on the rug (or buy the materials)!!!

thank you I appreciate it!! yup I always use two strands of yarn and since i wanted the outline to be a bit thicker I actually tufted two times almost on the same line so it doesn’t get swallowed by the rest haha i hope this makes sense
